Obviously, Gus Edwards was dealing with the training camp injury early in the season. The time off seemed to help. He looked like a different guy out there today!

I also want to say that-- despite Ladd McConkey not being targeted even ONCE in the first half-- when he got the ball in the second half, he was an outrageous YAC threat.
I said this once before a few weeks ago:
The only Charger receiver I have EVER seen with McConkey's open field running ability was Lance Alworth. Seriously. I'm not saying that Honky is equal to Bambi, just that these receivers share a rare degree of open field elusiveness. Let's enjoy this.

For the most part, the Bolts did a nice job of running time off the clock, which choked off the Titans' oxygen supply as the game wore on.
That Herb didn't get sacked at ALL seems pretty miraculous, given what we had witnessed in the eight games that came before this one. And he ran-- what?-- Four or five times? Got some crucial first downs. Really a significant part of the team's effort to keep the chains moving.

Herbert is elevating every week. Still throwing darts but pocket awareness was great and when he got outside with room he took that space on the ground and faked guys out.
Gus Edwards is different from the early season Gus. Looked great. That was what a team that wants to run looks like. Getting chunks and keeping the chains moving
