It's more so about what is or isn't called and most importantly WHEN. The refs have more power in the NFL than in any other sport to sway the outcomes of games.

Yes I have been critical of Herbert for sure...but it looks like with pass blocking and some run game...and a healthy ankle..he looks like a different guy. I was impressed today.

I agree. We got spoiled growing up watching those guys. Kobe, MJ, and the list goes on. He is young so he only remembers Curry.

Yet. Just make a FG and Chiefs lose today. So there is that.
Chargers only lost 10-17. It's hard to win games with 10 pts scored. But it's also When you play some team. Herbert was hobbled in a new offense in that 10pt game. Everyone knows they are Not a dominant 9-0 team. Bills probably hand them their first loss next week in Buffalo.

My point is/was that there is a guy currently in the NBA right now 100 times better at ankle breaking than 3 point shooting Steph Curry. Kyrie Irving dropped 43 points tonight on 17 of 22 shooting.

Crazy because penalties per game
Chiefs are 3rd lowest at 5.3
Chargers are 4th lowest at 5.4
So overall this refs help KC is marginal at best.

I think what really happens is Chiefs are the hunted and they played well enough to give themselves a chance to win. They have had some breaks but it seems way overblown as the spotlight is on them so it gets hyped up. Things can be streaky, like luck. They are skating on thin ice with so many close games. But Andy Reid did it in Philly, did it with many QBs, just didn't get the Ring until Mahomes. Andy knows how to win games.

Chargers are Harbaugh can beat them.
But of course KC isn't an easy out.
The reality is if things stay on course one of these Teams below will be in the Superbowl. And they have to fight each other to get there.

Chargers need to live and breath the Harbaugh mentality of Dominate the Day. And go get the Trophy.
Knock Mahomes off his pedestal. Be up by 2 scores late in the game so a single play or bad luck call can't hurt you.

to beat KC we have too be more than 8 points up with a minute to go....or tie game and go for 2....if no time left......Reid always saves a series of special plays so they can score when they have to at end of game.... which is why even if they struggle most of game, if they have a minute to go, they almost always march quickly and effortlessly down to take the lead....
