seems the TEs drop at least a couple of passes each game. we may have the worst pas-catching TE group in football right now. Hurst, who's supposed to be a better pass catcher, dropped an ez one down near the goal line...he may not have scored but woulda brought it to 3rd and a bit closer to goal. with the drop it made it 3rd and pass play. these TEs gotta put in time with the jugs machine...maybe get together with qj to see what he's been doing to get better.

our WRs are coming along nicely. The guy that really is playing worse than I expected is Hurst. Giving us nothing and dropping an easy walk in TD yesterday. I said weeks ago that Dissly is good for what he does but he can't make catches unless it's in his gut. Dropped another alligator arm catch in the EZ yesterday. TE is the biggest weakness on the team

This one might be end up being a shootout. I wasn't that impressed with the Bengals D in the Ravens game, but they pretty much had their way with their passing game vs. the Ravens. I'd for look the Chargers to try to control the clock with the run game and keep pressure on Burrow on D. They have to neutralize Chase, he was unstoppable.

if it becomes a shootout it will mean that Minters defense will have suffered a collapse we haven't yet seen in 2024...

our TEs dropped two TD passes yesterday, if Herbert had handed them ball directly into their hands he couldn't have placed it any better than he did on those two throws

the Bengal defense is not as strong this year as they have been, if we can sustain drives on them and come away with some points our defense will find a way to limit their scoring, they've done it with everyone this year including Patrick Mahomes...

or they could do what they did with Tomlinson and demote Hurst in favor of Smart, that move paid huge dividends against the Titans yesterday, Tucker Fisk was a huge improvement in the run game compared to Tomlinson...Smart just needs the opportunity...sometimes coaches stick with "their guys" to their own detriment, Hurst has done almost nothing all year...if Smart is healthy I would start him over Hurst...

I don't think Mack will be active in the Bengal game, and I think they'll be activating one of the DBs off of the IR, maybe Raegor goes back to the PS? even if they activate Samuel they will still elevate one other DB from the PS maybe Wade if Apple is out of elevations? and also Murphy might get called up again to help at Edge...it would be Bosa, Tuli, Dupree, and Murphy rotating at Edge and potentially Samuel added to the DB mix to help out against the Bengals passing attack...
