Impossible to predict this one.

Every facet of Chargers game was great yesterday and appears to be peaking at just the right time coming into this grueling stretch of games.

But we’ve played junior varsity teams, especially yesterday, so I don’t know how we will play against the Big Boys on our upcoming schedule.

Who’s going to cover Ja’Marr Chase? I like Cam Hart but that’s a tall order. Are Fulton and/or Samuel due back?

Im really looking forward to this game and I’m sure the networks are too. A lot of good story lines for media to hype and oh will they!!

I hope Chargers don’t lay an egg just when national media is getting excited about them again like they always have in the past.

The only mistake the Bolts made yesterday was not double covering Ridley when he went deep. I don’t expect them to make that mistake with Chase. He’s the guy the Bolts have to take out of the game.

I don't think Mack will be active in the Bengal game, and I think they'll be activating one of the DBs off of the IR, maybe Raegor goes back to the PS? even if they activate Samuel they will still elevate one other DB from the PS maybe Wade if Apple is out of elevations? and also Murphy might get called up again to help at Edge...it would be Bosa, Tuli, Dupree, and Murphy rotating at Edge and potentially Samuel added to the DB mix to help out against the Bengals passing attack...

4 plays? we got 4 plays from Mack on Sunday...is that really being active? To me that's a guy that's not healthy enough to play taking up a spot on the active roster...Nobody more than me wishes for some kind of Mack miracle to happen this week and his groin heal completely but he's an older guy now, pushing thru injuries at his age is not that same as say Tuli doing it, he needs the time off to heal up and we need him down the stretch and into the playoffs more than we need him right now...if we learned anything from yesterday's game it was that the other guys we have are more than capable of picking up the tab if Mack is not available...you have to let him heal and let your team depth do it's job...also Bosa seems to be getting healthier right now...

This one might be end up being a shootout. I wasn't that impressed with the Bengals D in the Ravens game, but they pretty much had their way with their passing game vs. the Ravens. I'd for look the Chargers to try to control the clock with the run game and keep pressure on Burrow on D. They have to neutralize Chase, he was unstoppable.

Note that the Ravens have the 32nd pass defense (in yards per game) right now. Chargers have #9 pass defense per same stat. over 100 yards less per game.

Still, I agree with you - don't take Bengals Pass O lightly, contain Chase, pressure Burrow who isn't going to run very far, and recognize and respect that they are good

This will be the best offense we have played this year so I hope to see Mack and Fulton with a FP this week as we could use them. I like Asante but just don't see him as a great fit for the style of defense the bolts want to play.

I'm already assuming that we'll be without both Mack and Fulton, but unlike years past where that would cause my blood pressure to skyrocket, I think we'll be fine without them, the Minter defense keeps chugging along no matter who they press into service, Minter is showing us what a real defensive genius looks like...

I have a lot of confidence that they'll find a way to minimize the damage against the Bengals...

I’m glad you pointed that out. The game announcers sure noticed and harped on why wasn’t there a safety on the play.

I’m sure that will be something the Bengals look to exploit and Minter looks to prevent from happening in the upcoming game.

It’s almost good it happened against that hapless QB before Burrow rolls like thunder into town.

This will be a good test for our secondary and I always like to see Herbert go up against guys like Burrow and Tua.

I see Burrow and Chase vs the Chargers D. Herbert shouldn't have to outgun them. Bungals D is nothing special allowing 26.2 ppg. We'll get our points. Holding them to 20 or less is the challenge.

I’m not sure that is true. They are better O because of their WRs, but we are better D.
