With Herbert, the Chargers were a 500 team last year.

Without him, they were easily the worst team in the league who couldn't defeat the Chief's B team at home.

Their interior vacillates between subpar to adequate.

Compare that to what Herbert has had there: 1. Tevi / Storm/ Scott, 2. Slater / Storm, 3. Salyer/Storm/Pip, 4. Hobbled Slater / Pip .... holy hell!

Who was on the inside you ask? Feeney and garbage, and then decent interior play primarily due to Linsley, and then the horror show last year.

Good God, Herbert takes no back seat to anyone when it comes to wretched Oline play.

Cop cars should be descending on Raider headquarters as you read this, handcuffing TT and escorting him away for reckless endangerment.
They'd probably have a few more warrants to serve there, knowing the seediness of that organization.
This is what I've been saying. Thank you. There seems to be some belief Herbert has had better OL protecting him in his career than Burrow. But that is not the case. Burrow's OL may not have been great during his career in Cinn. But there have been worse, and that is the Chargers OL for most of Herbert's career.

Can Gus show us more of what we saw last week?

          Depends on the blocking.
I guess yes. Cincy gives up a lot of yards.

can the IOL continue improving? last week they took a step forward, and the Titans have a strong IDL, I think it's a really good sign if our IOL starts to play better, it could be the difference between serious contention and missing the playoffs...

Yes they can. Will they remains to be seen but hopefully, yes. Salyer may have won his job back.

Chase leads in receiving yards, TD catches, receptions, and yards after the catch.

Chase has amassed those league leading stats while Tee Higgins, another WR#1 caliber receiver, hasn’t played for the past three games.

Tee Higgins is back for Sunday’s game.

One strategy may be to take Chase out of the game. He gets frustrated easily when he doesn’t get the ball. This will cause Burrow to force the ball to him even if Higgins is open
Like, how am I a traitor? Your team are traitors.

Chargers are activating from the PS
                  Eli Apple - CB

                  Caleb Murphy LB

Tells me - probably -that Mack will not play

Not sure who Apple is playing for but CB depth against the Bengals is probably wise

Thats a smart strategy - double up on Chase - and if Higgins becomes the primary option, so be it. Can't have Chase going crazy tomorrow.

If we can win this game our projected playoff percentage rises up to 91%. Not to get too greedy, but this would be a nice one to have. Still, if we can beat Ravens and Broncos, that's the real way to move up and secure a playoff spot. So nothing to lose, and not the end of the world if we do slip.
