This should knock off the Chargering with this kind of win. This should help everyone psychologically. A loss here would have been the Jaguars hangover again with an eventual blowup.
I honestly thought they were going to Charger this game away. But I have to say that Chargering is starting to go away. I don’t have complete faith that it is totally gone but it’s starting to go away.
Impressive win. A lot for Herbert to work on. A lot. The defense steadied itself, but it needs secondary help badly. They missed Mack tonight too. This was a good team win that helps build this team not this year, but moving forward. This is the type of psychological win that they've needed for a while. Really good job of Harbaugh of finding a way to recapture momentum. Good job Herbert for making the 2 throws he needed to to win. And to Roman, who takes a lot of criticism, but who designed some great schemes and plays that led to this offense putting 34 points on the board. Oh, and if Dobbins isn't comeback player of the year, then there is something wrong with this league.
Herbert tightened up thats for sure on some of those throws
got lucky with the missed FGs
but he made a couple bit throws to Ladd when they needed
We did not deserved this win.
Unluckinest (is that a word) has shifted away from us with JH.
I strongly disagree, this is the closest thing I've seen to a playoff game in mid November...

That was painful but we somehow found a way. Herbert played his best half of the season and the worst half of the season in the same game, but still made 2 big throws in the end to give us a chance.
