Let's face it, they needed this test. The 49ers had the same kind of game against the Seahawks I believe in Harbaugh's first year. And I think we all know most of the team that had been on Staley's team has been questioning whether they could conquer the same scenario as happened in the Jaguars playoff game.

I kind of agree with this. They had the lead, gave it up but still won the game

McConkey is Puca, we just don't utilize him enough. Guy is open most of the time, but the gameplan seems to be to share the ball around.

Really impressed with the Defense! I can give a crap they gave up some points. They had some injuries - lets not over look that. no help from an offense that disappeared for almost the entire 2nd half. But when the chips were down - they got the huge stops. This is a good defense.

That was painful but we somehow found a way. Herbert played his best half of the season and the worst half of the season in the same game, but still made 2 big throws in the end to give us a chance.

That is what the great ones do.

John Elway used to stink up the field for 58 minutes, then bear down when it counted to get the win. That how he got so many comeback wins.

lots to like about this team tonight, and going forward..... Henley, McConkey, Tuli, Fulton, Tarheeb, Dissly, Slater, Alt + Harbaugh + Minter + Hortiz.... lots to like.

It was only that close coz their kicker missed 2FGs in 4th QTR. It was not close coz 2 good teams that executed played tonight.

Roman was good tonight, Herbert apart of final drive was off target all 2nd half.

Lots to improve and build on.

Imagine this defence with few playemerkers...imagine this offence with great IOL and TE...

I am in love with Jim - coaching matters, we would not win this game with Staley, Lynn nor McCoy.
