Staley quits, Harbaugh picks himself up, dusts himself off, and digs in for the win.

The difference was Minter and the defensive coaching staff.
Staley couldn't stop the bleeding and near the end, just curled up in the fetal position

Hate that it came down to Tee Higgins basically having the ball in his hands on that hail mary and DJ was the only Charger to even jump with him?

I'm not nit picking - it was just that kind of game.

Honestly the play of the game for me was Henley harassing Burrow on that final third down to force a bad throw - Higgins was open for a first down and much more.

it was a fun win, there tons of really cool moments for both sides...thing is a lot of the Charger moments came in the first half so people kind of forgot about them...

two things stood out to me, we went over 27 points in a game for the first time all season. AND our defense allowed more than 20 points for the first time all season too...damn, Cincy has a LOT of great players on that offense...

They are a dangerous offense for sure. I think most of their losses have been close this season too. We know that feeling all too well

The entire offense was a dumpster fire the 2nd half against a bottom dwelling defense.
Not sure what happened. Cincy's D threw something at them new and they didn't know how to respond to it.

Oh, and fuck you flyfisher ... that troll routed against the Chargers in the Jacksonville playoff debacle.

I did not. No idea what you are talking about. Absolutely ridiculous and I take some big time umbrage at suggesting as much -- further personal attacks are lame in the internet space anyway. as you really don't know me and I don't know you; a bunch of keyboard jockeying is really silly, Further, Herbert stunk in the second half. The scheme was fine. It looked like Cincy played different looks and Herbert was getting confused. He got sped up, his footwork went to hell, and he missed throws. He has had accuracy problems going back to Oregon, when he gets sped up. He has improved, but not enough. The positive is the team won, and Herbert can hopefully learn from this. He really is a game manager at this point -- but his athleticism is damn amazing. Very much like Josh Allen in that way. However, the only thing that kills momentum more than poor accuracy is what? Turnovers. That fumble by Herbert came at an awful time. Again, a lot to learn from this game, which I bet Harbaugh will mention was "kinda messy" at some point during his press conference.
