Burrow choked .... they had a chance to win and he flat out choked the final 3 times he had the ball.

saw some stat during the game that he had some horrendous win percentage if his team was down by a score. gotta feel a bit for the bengals this year cuz we've been there a lot, ESPECIALLY Herbert with those horrific defenses trying to defend his leads.

Maybe they are connecting on those plays in practice. But making those plays against your friendly teammates is different than making them against an opponent who wants to take your head off.

Fly patterns to a 4.5 guy going up against a corner that runs 4.26 is not smart.
QJ's not Mike Williams, who will go up and grab it away from a smaller corner.

QJ was fine .... he just couldn't get open deep against Turner.
Turner ran a 4.26 40 at the combine ..... Harbaugh should have known that a fellow wolverine was that fast.
And yet Herbert didn't realize the situation.

Just stupid decisions, bad passes, drops (none by QJ) key blunders up and down the entire offense, bone headed mistakes.

They stopped going to Dissley for some reason ... Cincy schemed to take him away at halftime? That would have been weird.


What really hurt was that they punted each time on downs after going to QJ deep.

He was open on one play on 3rd down in the 4rth in which Herbert wiffed.
QJ was not the problem.

Yea, a lot of those were Herbert's fault. QJ had steps on the CB and Herbert needs to put more air and lob the ball better so only QJ can make a play on it. Herbert still has a tendency to tightrope long passes.

The entire offense was a dumpster fire the 2nd half against a bottom dwelling defense.

The offense scored 10 pts in the 2nd half. Wish they coulda scored more but hardly a dumpster fire.

And Herbert to play better than he did for most of the second half tonight. It happens, but that really was not good after the outstanding first half he had.

QB rating of 153.2 after first half, ended up at 94. More importantly, after such a dominant half he ended up throwing under 50% completion on the night and coulldnt keep the offense on the field.

Thrilled we pulled it out and avoided a prime time collapse, but the way the offense just stops functioning in the 2nd half of games continues to be a concern.

how many more if his D's thru the years were even middle of the pack?! He came thru in the end with those clutch throws when I was screaming at how crappy he'd been playing the 2nd half. that shut me up!
