I feel their pain. Off script has been the Chargers O for forever. And if don’t work.

QB rating of 153.2 after first half, ended up at 94. More importantly, after such a dominant half he ended up throwing under 50% completion on the night and coulldnt keep the offense on the field.

Thrilled we pulled it out and avoided a prime time collapse, but the way the offense just stops functioning in the 2nd half of games continues to be a concern.

He missed a few throws but didn’t get much help from anyone until the final drive. But 24 first half points and 10 second half points will win just about every game we play.

Same. Conk is the only big time WR this team has. QJ and Palmer can be complimentary WRs down a depth chart. Maybe QJ still has some room to grow. But Palmer has reached his ceiling. QJ doesn't understand how to use his superior physique and athleticism to make plays with a defender on him. It's kind of frustrating to watch.

how many more if his D's thru the years were even middle of the pack?! He came thru in the end with those clutch throws when I was screaming at how crappy he'd been playing the 2nd half. that shut me up!

A couple of Mahomes GWD came against us after Herbert gave us the lead late.

I have to say I love our guy Justin always (even though he stressed me out in the 2nd half tonight) but i have to tip my hat to the way Burrow is playing this year. 4-7 is not his fault

Thats quite a pair the Bengals have. At least that is behind us. We still have good QBs to deal with the next few games but not a pair of WRs like that

Leading rusher was Herbert. Chargers got nothing on the ground from anyone not named Herbert until Dobbins run.

Agree on all your points. QJ has some good moments, but on contested catches, while he looks like Tarzan he tends to play like Jane. And, yes, we need to see Chark, the 2nd half offensive dry spell made it clear the offense needs a 2nd WR who can be clutch in crunch time.

lol 28.5 points in the last 3 games. Teams gotta play out of character going for it on 4th downs and needing to score 30 to beat this Charger team. Basically playing like their season depended on it. Meanwhile the Chargers played it like another game.

Bengals' A game could'nt beat our B game.

Herbert still has room to improve on learning how to throw QJ and Ladd open. Prior to this game QJ had a 85% catch rate the past 3 games. Lessor QB's simply wouldn't throw to QJ 8 times tonight.
