If he is finally healthy, not really seeing why they should not try him ahead of Palmer

Leads the NFL in passing 3028 yards throwing over 67% with 27 TD s 4 Int 106.9
Burrow made some nice plays tonight and proved slippery in the pocket but he missed some open guys on deep balls that would have been TDs and threw a bunch of wobblers. Chase and Higgins make a big difference.

Would sure like to see this Chark guy play. Need to do something new with this receiving group, other than McConkey.

think the Dline receded in the second half and lost containment on Burrow a couple few times too many.... Herb0 laid an egg in the second half, and for some reason Dissly was a no show in the second half as well ??

not sure what happened on/to the IDL for the second half, and.... don't recall seeing/hearing much of Denzel neither (in the second half) ??

think losing a CB or two affected things as well....

and guessin' we coulda used Edwards some, and agree.... prolly coulda used Chark as well ??

think the the Oline held up reasonably well, think the running game was sufficient, Dissly had a good game, and even think the receivers were alright, as thinkin' it was J10 who was just off w/his ball placement for most of the second half ??

and think the guys on the Edge played pretty well, Henley was outta his tree (good), liked what Fulton did more oft than not, ditto for Tarheeb and some of our other DBs.... not sure if it was injuries or the whatnot, but the interior of our D was a lot leakier in the second half than it had been in the first ??

all that said, 34 points is 34 points, and.... think we all share in the disappointment of giving up more than 20 points for the first time, as you could just tell the D and the sidelines just didn't want to give up TDs when Cincy began to get into the red zone.

looking forward to seeing how Jim does against John, as was def not expecting a win here tonight.... well done gentlemen.

Dissley is OUR steal of the year. I hope to resign him.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
              Let’s win one for Mack.

The frustration has shown on the faces of the Cincinnati Bengals throughout the course of a season full of one-score losses.

But Sunday night it started to manifest itself vocally following a 34-27 road loss to the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium.

When asked why the Bengals, who have six losses by seven points or less, can’t figure out how to finish games, Ja’Marr Chase said the answer shouldn’t come from him.

“Ask Zac (Taylor),” he said, referring to his head coach. ‘Ask the coaches. That's not my job. I play football on the field. I don't call plays for us.”

It never crossed my mind that we would lose this game. NEVER.

Tee Higgins was a beast tonight. He overshadowed Chase who's a top 5 Wr. They're loaded. Can't compare Burrows to Herbert without a huge asterisk

Chase is more than a top 5. He is THE best WR in the NFL this year by a margin and the only guy close is Jefferson. Yes Higgins looked great, i just picked him up this week in a fantasy Guillotine league and started him!
