Yeah, I was hoping to put it away early in the 2nd Half so I could get to bed and get up in time for the gym. But alas, I got to bed after midnight, missed the gym and now I'm crotchety and bitching out the leafs falling off the trees. "I JUST RAKED, NATURE! WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!!".

Instead of the safe 1st down run they tend to do with big leads going into the second half, I'd wish they would bet some house money on a chunk play to keep the mo going. The only run game going from the 1st half was JH10. It was a smart move by the Bengals to keep the run D into the 3rd qtr.

He isnt MW in that regard. Tyrell Williams wasnt either. You either go up and fight for the ball or you dont. Its player makeup. If Herb gets a few more inches of depth on that one pass its a TD but it got knocked away. Defenders get paid too.

Did Pipkins play the whole game at RG? I didnt recall seeing Salyer.

huh? One time out is not even close to enough to stop the chargers from taking a knee and kicking a field goal on 3rd down. There was less than a minute left.

There's a world of difference between guys like Chase and Higgins and QJ.
It's funny, but McConkey is the successor to MW, not QJ, when it comes to contested catches. McConkey is not going to be successful at it as MW was obviously. But QJ could learn from watching McConkey.

I know I saw Salyer in on a goalline stance once. I thought I saw Pip go down a couple of times dinged up, but I don't know if he went out. He threw a key block on the TD run though. That was good to see.

If you as a coach don’t trust Dicker the kicker to make a 25 yard field goal 100% of the time then you need a new kicker. Is dicker missing 10% of his kicks within the 25, I highly doubt it.

Dobbins gave the bengals a chance to win before OT. If you kick the FG only the Chargers have a chance to win before OT. I do not think the chance of missing the field goal is more than the chance of that offense with those weapons driving down the field and scoring.

Do you not watch movies because they’re scripted?

He measured 6-2.6 at the combine. But his reach (wingspan) is impressive, superior to that of MW even, and his catch radius is ginormous. He doesn't use it to his full advantage. That was one of the knocks on him coming out of college. I think there is a chance he figures it out, he has made good strides this season in other aspects. Maybe the experience he got last night - even though he didn't make the catches - helps him grow and he starts making those grabs in the future. We can hope. If I were his WR coach I'd be working on it with him relentlessly.

He reached out to grab it and it was still too far ahead of him. You're expecting too much out of Johnston and not holding Herbert accountable for a terrible pass.
The only thing I am objecting to is the claim it was a terrible pass. I didn't say it was a great pass, it was out in front of him but he did get his hands on it so it could not have been that bad. McConkey catches that pass.

I don't think he uses his catch radius at all. If the ball isn't right on his body, he rarely seems to come down with it.
