Did Pipkins play the whole game at RG? I didnt recall seeing Salyer.

If you think the amount of money that is made by the NFL and sports betting isn’t influencing outcomes of games then you’re being naive. Money influences and corrupts everything, just look at politics, government, people etc. the NFL owners make money from making sure that they get the most eyeballs and attention on the game. This is why they have made the rules of the game more offense focused and muddled a bunch of rules to make them callable on any play they want. We already know that New York and the NFL have direct contact with the refs during games why do you think they wouldn’t milk it for all it’s worth.
Not buying that the NFL doesn’t have a lot of input into outcome manipulation through the refs, it makes too much monetary sense for them.

There are a lot of comments about Herbert not getting enough respect, compared to Burrow. Herbert's QBR from this game was 44-ish. Burrow was 82. Herbert simply does not have Burrow's accuracy or ability to read defenses (or manipulate defenses). Burrow had some next level, elite plays in this game that I marveled at. It isn't Higgins, Chase, etc. It is that Burrow has elite passing talent. Herbert does not have Burrow's footwork, his accuracy, or his skill. Can Herbert finally shake some of the poor footwork and poor accuracy issues that have plagued him since Oregon? I'm not sure -- he may just be that QB.
Despite that, what I like about Herbert is that he KNOWS that he was bad in the 2nd half. He knows he was poor and missed throws and reads. That can drive improvement. It is why Harbaugh doesn't need to overcoach him.

Do you believe football games are scripted like movies? A team of scriptwriters get together and hash out a script based on what the league wants the outcome to be, then sends those scripts to the teams, and players are actors who aren't trying to win they're just doing what the manuscript says? And Jim Harbaugh is not a coach but a director who willingly lets the Chargers lose if that is what the league has scripted? And that the thousands of people who would have to be in on conspiracy all keep it a secret that the games are not real but everyone is following a script?

Unfortunately This won't happen until the IOL improves . . . . . . . .

The last question and answer from Harbaugh during his post-game presser was absolutely brilliant! The question was about on Herbert's ball security on the run where he fumbled the ball and whether Harbaugh was going to address that with Herbert.
Harbaughs answer: "Nah...I don't want him (Herbert) to be a victim of over-coaching....just have at it....go and play...he's great". I absolutely love that answer!Time to put my money where my mouth is: Hampton will be better than Jeanty!
