Chargers at Chiefs (-4.5) Pre Game Discussion (Wk 14)

A loss in KC this Sunday will not be the end of the world. Our fate will still be in our hands. A win would put us 'on top of the world' though . . . . . . . . . . . as has been said many times before - I wish we could play them at full strength for once . . . . . . . . . . we're pretty beat up ATM

Gus and Vidal looked good vs ATL until we quit running them.

I looked at the play by play. Doesn't show what you claim. There a few longer than 5, 10 yard runs, coupled with lots of 2, 3 yarders.
In total 57 yards on 17 carries. Not nearly good enough to cut it. We need to stay away from penalties, as it put us behind the chains
and forced us to pass instead of sticking with the run. That was a problem against Atlanta.

On the other side you can't argue against our D. But as games against Cincy and Baltimore showed we are not perfect. Atlanta moved
the ball well but 4 interceptions and missed FG killed them.

KC offense is struggling. But Reid figures things out and Mahomes is still a very dangerous QB. Our D has to keep us in this game as
our offense is sputtering lately.

Reid did his best to call in a favor (Still's "random" drug test) haha
no excuses. KC defense isn't championship caliber.
Their OL is worse than ours overall.
Time is right to kill the king. Simms agrees.

It's hard for me to predict a winner for this game, the lack of a viable running back and QJ's regression/disappearing act are killing the offense. The defense can't carry the entire load. But I'm gonna go with the Chargers 20-17.

Being the defensive genius I am...I would think the gameplan against the Bolts would be...just double team McConkey. Spag would never think of that though. But hoping for an upset.

Amazing concept that Harbaugh and Roman have no idea about man D vs our WRs. In fact they probably know quite a bit more than the writer.

How will they use it to our advantage? TBD.

The issue is that we haven’t had a solution for it yet. The hope is that it manifests Sunday night against the Chiefs and a victory.
