Admin note, I closed the original Greg Roman Thread, no real reason to have 2. I can't merge them, as this one is a poll. - Bolt-O

Hate to start up a thread like this after a win, but come on! Our offense was so anemic...it was our D that won this game for us. Here are my main complaints about Greg Roman:
1. Herbie got sacked FIVE times, and by the Falcons, a team LAST in sacks in the league before this game. These were mostly coverage sacks. Herbie was holding onto the ball too long, because our wideouts weren't getting hardly any separation (except for Conk, who had a decent game). Palmer did get barely enough separation for Herbie to gun a laser to him for that TD. Aside from that and Conk, our wideout play was terrible. Roman can't keep on dialing up these uncreative plays and letting Herbie get hammered repeatedly, or we'll be back to him getting injured like last year.
2. Roman needs to dial up some more creative pass patterns...maybe a crosser pattern for QJ (and hope he doesn't drop it again). And what about dialing up some screen plays? At the very least, send the RB into the flats for a hot route.
3. Roman's ground game isn't going too good. And the run game is supposed to be his forté...okay, so we're missing Dobbins, but how about using Vidal more? He showed some promise on that first quarter run for a first down.
4. Finally, play calling like the screenshot below are the kind that drive me nuts. It's 3rd and 9 and Roman sends QJ on a 5-yard out route...uh, we need NINE yards for a first down, dude! At LEAST send QJ 10 yards or so before he cuts to the outside...UNLESS QJ ran the wrong route...Wow, just...wow...
