Smartt was a nice surprise….i forgot who 84 was. Play the kid…he can catch it better that prob sll the other TEs based on tonights sample size…him and Dissly would be a decent pairing. Plus hes got some size to him.

Can't win them all! The Chargers brain trust Harbaugh & Hortiz will figure out what we need to get over the hump this off season to beat KC! Until then just keep getting better and try and win out our remaining games.... Once in the playoffs anything could happen....

right, never a complete game by the O. The D does almost all they can but once again Justin leads them to a lead only to have the D give up the game in the end. Cant really blame the D though cuz they've more than held up their side of the ball.

The D could finish tackles on the last drive. Lots of whiffs.

KC would've marched down the field for a TD if they needed to.

Yep...I like Smartt better on those sideline routes than QJ...use QJ on crossers and short passes into the flats...

I wouldn't say easy...nothing easy vs. the Chefs...but yes, having a healthy Ladd would have surely helped...

I mean, why not? In a 2 point loss, there were plenty of miscues.

He's another guy on the team - praise/criticism when it's warranted. Absolutely the miss to Palmer and a couple other open guys at times hurt us. It doesn't diminish him leading us back in the 2nd half, either.

He's QB1 and the highest paid guy on the team - he's going to get all of it. No immunity.

Ladd being out forced other guys to finally step up and as far as the defense hard to be mad at them. I’m not a fan of moral victories but the second half adjustments were a very welcome development as was Smartt.

I'm expecting the same - Chiefs 3PEAT - there is no way the Chiefs are a 12-1 team this year legitimately

I probably won't be watching NFL anymore if that's how it plays out though. Even as entertainment it will just make things boring going forward.

I used to watch WWF when I was young until I realized it was fake. Seems like this is going the same way just less obvious
