This isn’t like a fake the moon landing sort of conspiracy, this is more like Profesional Wrestling hiding it was fake for a hundred years. It pays more to fix the outcome because in the end it’s all entertainment. They aren’t paid because of the sport, they get paid because people are entertained.

if you don’t think there is a lot of corruption with the level of money in the business then you’re just being naive.

You have to be willfully oblivious to not see it. The Chefs tackle false starts and lines up illegally every play and doesn’t get called. That is the directive from NFL headquarters. Myhommy runs for a critical first down with a blatant hold by the center and the refs swallow their flags by directive from the NFL. The players are not in on it but the refs are definitely in on the scam.

No, but think of it this way - with the countless plays that take place in a 60 minute game, and how much control the refs have in granting 1st downs for any ticky tack reason they deem necessary, calling or not calling penalties when they matter most, how hard do you really think it is to sway outcomes of games with that many opportunities?

KC got away with a lot of holding on their only TD drive.
Without that, Reid is as bad as Greg Roman to some here.

Yep, and that’s why the NFL never has profesional refs. They can just have plausible deniability on this stuff by saying the refs aren’t employees. In reality they are employees.

Their offense looks really bad too. I’ll give Reid the benefit of the doubt because of all the Lombardis. Remind me how many Roman has? That’s what thought.

Missing JKD and Ladd hurt in this game, as well as Herbert playing hurt. Like someone said, this is probably the worst roster of the Jim Harbaugh regime, and we saw how Roman's offense can work with the right weapons. Who knows, maybe Smartt got some confidence today and will be the TE we need. QJ had a pretty good game today, but Pip had lots of problems with Chris Jones (and many other players have).

Ya ultimately, it's not just what is called, but also what isn't, and even more importantly WHEN

I don't like that a team cannot challenge a bad call or missed call.

                        Should bench Pip for Salyer.

Forget which game it was, but it was earlier in the year where Salyer filled in for a long stretch for Pip and the line was dominant that game.

With Smartt being an ex qb would love to see a trick play like Herb to Smartt then Smartt to Herb for a TD
