It pays more to fix the outcome because in the end it’s all entertainment. They aren’t paid because of the sport, they get paid because people are entertained.

Missing JKD and Ladd hurt in this game, as well as Herbert playing hurt. Like someone said, this is probably the worst roster of the Jim Harbaugh regime, and we saw how Roman's offense can work with the right weapons. Who knows, maybe Smartt got some confidence today and will be the TE we need. QJ had a pretty good game today, but Pip had lots of problems with Chris Jones (and many other players have).

We need to bring in a new OG either with a top draft pick or free agent who has the right stuff to replace Pip, and a lock down DB to replace Jasir Taylor. That should go a long way on getting over the hump.

The league has really been losing its integrity because of horrible calls.

Yep, and that’s why the NFL never has profesional refs. They can just have plausible deniability on this stuff by saying the refs aren’t employees. In reality they are employees.
