* IF there is a chance, as in if the ravens lose their next two games (steelers and texans) and the Chargers beat the patriots, that would put the ravens at 9-7 and the Chargers at 10-6 going into week 18.

Watching a reply of yesterday game with next Gen stats.
And mid 3rd quarter they say Herbert complete 8 for 8 at that point in game and every catch the player was wide open by at least 3 yards. That commitment to run and play action is getting these guys wide open.

Id say wait till we see results from next Sat/Sun games to see what we do for the Faiders. If key players are ailing id say rest em. Perryman…bad groin sit him. Hart if hes still having concussion issues sit him….any groins or soft issues sit em. We need that full strength to go hard in the playoffs…we need all guns ablazin against our first foe. If its not a true mesningful game dont take a big risk…..even Herb sit if he has anything more than minor discomfort. No limping into the fight.

Same here. If we play in Houston in round 1, then my son and I should be able to go. It would be our first Chargers playoff game to attend in person. Fingers crossed!

The Ravens have the Steelers at home (tomorrow), the Texans on the road, then the Browns at home. They would have to lose two of those games, and the Chargers would have to win their final 2, to get the #5 seed. But we can start by rooting for the Steelers tomorrow, it's the late game tomorrow afternoon on Fox.

Going to say it again, last night against the Broncos, the TEs and the RBs and the down the depth chart WRs got involved in the passing game as receivers and Justin Herbert and the offense were unstoppable in the 2nd half. My peeve all season and why the offense has struggled, IMO, is that Herbert's range of receiving options was so damn limited. Ladd, QJ, Palmer, Dissly. Last night, in the absence of Dissly, TEs Smartt, Hurst and Fisk all made key catches to convert 1st downs. Derius Davis caught a TD pass. Hassan Haskins took a shuttle pass to the house. This is what this offense has needed all season. It also showed that Herbert can make an offense work without a slate of stars at his disposal. If he can get everybody involved, the offense is really good.

I think Dobbins can return for the Patriots, right? Dissly should be able to play. Gilman, Asante, Perryman and Hart for the defense. With all these players slated to return, if the team is re-armed and is fully healthy going into the final two weeks and then into the post-season on a 3-game win streak, this team is going to be poised to do some damage in the playoffs.

I'm liking how things are shaping up. That 2nd half was a work of art!
