I’m in the rest as many starters as possible camp. They haven’t had a week off since the week 5 bye. We can’t afford another M Will disaster.

There is a real benefit in playing backups besides resting starters. They get valuable game time experience and you can see what they got if you need them for the playoffs.

Another factor is be careful what you wish for. If the Chargers play Houston and lose it will be a bigger failure than losing to Baltimore. Reverse is more rewarding.

Let’s kick LaMarr’s ass and revenge Jim’s earlier loss to John. Don’t be so fearful of Ravens. It’s unbecoming and shows no confidence in your team.

Harbaugh has all but confirmed he’s playing his starters against the Raiders. For how long remains to be seen.

From the post-game celebration? That was before him knowing that he could be playing for nothing. I accept anything he does, but realistically, he should be planning for the worst case situation of having to play against the Ravens.

Could go up but could drop for desperate sellers.
If you want to go to the entire game the cheapest is usually the night before and then starts getting higher I've noticed for all tickets at all venues. Otherwise cheapest is after game starts if you're willing to miss the first quarter.

I don't think Bowers wins OROY (AFC OROY yes), I think Jayden Daniel's wins OROY

As for the Raiders - they have the cap space to do something big for Darnold -- next two years, nobody has more combined space than the Raiders
Why would Darnold not insist on 5 years, $200 million plus?
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
              Let’s win one for Mack.

It’s probably been noted, but if Cincy beats Pitt on Saturday night, and we beat the turds on Sunday, we get the #5 seed. Since I hate Pitt more than Cincy, I gotta root for Cincy in that game. Go Burro.

Good observation. I'll support Jim's decision. If it were my call and #5 seed is off the table, a lot of the starters are getting rested. I think JH said play to win, not who would play.

Not me. I’d be extremely upset at that. But I’d be happy if they could trade a lower pick for Michael Mayer. Or maybe swap our 2nd for their 3rd.

Actually for Dobbins - I might play him for the reps to get back into shape

Gilman is a guy I would like to see play

If the Chargers do get the 5th seed - you can schedule a flight to Houston for the early game on Saturday in Wild card round
If you’re being cautious, Dobbins is the first guy you sit with his injury history. When he was hurt in the 2nd quarter against the Ravens, he had 6 carries for 40 yards. While he isn’t Henry, his absence greatly contributed to that loss. The passing game is more varied now than it was then. Hoping they’ve been building toward this level, and it continues into the playoffs.

Ya,I would rest all the starters honestly if the game don't matter.

Speaking for myself, I don't fear the Ravens. Respect is the correct word. Likewise Houston.
Houston environment over Baltimore is an easy choice. More Chargers fans in the seats and very probably better weather.
