This is pretty impressive considering where we were when last season ended. Talent deficient and in cap hell. Not where you want to be.

Oh, and I think Herbert should get comeback player of the year. He ended the year on IR and took this team from the pits to the playoffs. This team is nowhere without his commitment and his guts.

this team is still talent deficient, expectations need to be realistic in the playoffs, especially if they don't get the #5 seed, if they do I will expect them to beat Houston, otherwise it's hard to see them beating Baltimore or the Bills

Too many possibilities on scheduling. I just know that they won't schedule the Raiders-Chargers game at 10a, lol.

They'd have to have Chargers/A-holes and Pitt/Cincy on at the same time, I'd think.

The math isn't yet in on Playoffstatus.com, but I think it's about 25%. NFL could put the PITT/CIN and the Colts and Dolphin games in week 18 in the early window, so the Chargers would know for sure. Same with the Broncos, they could know if they are in, or will need to win if those games are played earlier.

if Denver loses next week and Miami, Indy, and Cincy all win out then all four teams would end up 9-8 and I'm not sure how the tie breakers would shake out but I think Denver would be out...

I can see the NFL moving the Steelers game to SNF like the did the Chargers and turds a couple years ago. Or is there no SNF game next week?
