The play I mentioned was from teh regular season game Jamrock mentioned
The game was in San Diego
I think the Chargers lost like 34-10 or 34-17 - the Bengals smoked them pretty good at the Murph
The game in Cincy, the cold game was 27-7 Bengals I believe.

Gotta agree with Sonora here, Mr. Scharnhorst. Funny, I just watched a 30 min vid about the Freezer Bowl from the Bengals' perspective, interviews with former Bengals who played in the game. They said they were better prepared for the game than the Chargers, but even they were not experienced in playing in cold that extreme. The previous week the Chargers had played in the most epic playoff game of all time in Miami, in heat/humidity so extreme players were cramping up. They were physically and emotionally exhausted. Then they had to travel to Cinn and play in the coldest game ever recorded and deal with Pete Johnson. It may have appeared the Chargers mailed it in, but the reality is they were just spent.
Anyway my original point is this.....the big guns know how important EVERY SINGLE GAME is. As evidenced by their records...Buffalo 13-3, KC 15-1, Detroit 14-2. These guys want home field advantage in early September and play like it, while others don't seem to consider it until late in the season. By then they don't control their own destiny and are at the mercy of who they play, and WHERE.
I'm glad we are in the playoffs, but i don't like playing in their crib. Here's to a 13 win record next season with many played in SOFI.

The real tragedy of the Coryell/Fouts era was losing to the Raiders at home in the AFCCG. That was the year they should have been in the SB and beat Ron Jaworski and the Eagles which the Raiders ended up doing.

We were all so proud of our players......Kellen Winslow getting an IV on the sidelines, then being sent in to block a miami field goal!!! Now if a guy gets a paper cut they hold him out for a play

Not that I believe this team would pull that crap. Our players are all about team with Jim Harbaugh. Marty's players were worried about personal goals.
