The NFL did the Chargers a big-time solid. I thought for sure hte league would do the reverse - make the Chargers play the game.

Sounds like to me if the Steelers win, some players will be resting on Sunday

Me too, as they should. I also think the Broncos win vs KC’s second string, and they take WC7, we have the tiebreaker against them even if we lose and will remain a game up vs any of the others if Broncos stumbled. 11 does sound better than 10 but healthy WC round sounds even better to me. Can’t wait for this weekend and then the next!

If the Steelers win -- I think harbaugh and the organization should be very judicious in who they play. The Ravens will be a tough opponent. Good to rest up the QB for sure

With Derius Davis getting more involved in the offense, it puts him at risk of injury, he's very small, exactly the same height/weight as Tank Dell, who has suffered season-ending injuries in his rookie and soph seasons. When DD went airborne to catch that TD pass in NE, I winced a bit when he hit the turf. If he is injured during a game, I suppose McConkey could return kicks. But that would not be ideal, Ladd is too important to the offense to be distracted by returning kicks also, or putting him at increased risk of injury.

I think they should bring up Laviska Shenault from the PS. He was returning kicks for the Seahawks until just a few weeks ago, and he took one back for a TD in Seattle. As a WR, Shenault can't possibly be worse than the totally useless DJ Chark, can he? He wasn't heavily used as a WR in Seattle, but he did have 5 receptions before he was released. He's been on the PS for a month now, long enough to be familiar with the system. If DD does get injured during a game, they would have a legit, experienced KR to fall back on if Shenault is on the roster. Why the even keep Chark on the roster is a mystery to me at this point.

Bengals and Steelers better game and both have something to play for. Even if (when) Ravens win, Steelers still fighting for 5th seed and Bengals the playoffs, despite slim odds.

I had no doubt Bengals vs Steelers, specifically, would be a Saturday game, and would certainly play before Denver and Miami played. Will be a huge audience for a myriad of reasons.

That said - even if the key players are not playing - I would want to beat the Raiders

I could care less if it helps them get a better draft pick. I would wnat to see Heinecke do well
