Now, I agree with this. If you have a chance at the 5th seed and not plahying the Ravens - do it

Its if they don't have a chance at the 5th seed only

Totally agree if you can't get the 5 rest as many starters as you can especially those that have been battling injuries.

But this is a good game for Alohi Gilman to get snaps no matter what. Granted, if the game is meaningless, don't over do it. But start working Gilman back into the rotation. Maybe even the new Safety Edmunds, chance to get some reps.

When DD went airborne to catch that TD pass in NE, I winced a bit when he hit the turf. If he is injured during a game, I suppose McConkey could return kicks. But that would not be ideal, Ladd is too important to the offense to be distracted by returning kicks also, or putting him at increased risk of injury.

I think they should bring up Laviska Shenault from the PS. He was returning kicks for the Seahawks until just a few weeks ago, and he took one back for a TD in Seattle. As a WR, Shenault can't possibly be worse than the totally useless DJ Chark, can he? He wasn't heavily used as a WR in Seattle, but he did have 5 receptions before he was released. He's been on the PS for a month now, long enough to be familiar with the system. If DD does get injured during a game, they would have a legit, experienced KR to fall back on if Shenault is on the roster. Why the even keep Chark on the roster is a mystery to me at this point.
If McConkey should EVER, for ANY reason, be asked to return kicks the entire coaching staff should be fired on the spot . . . . . . . . . .

I think the backup returned is Hassan Haskins. And you are correct - no way should Ladd be returining punts or kicks

              Put a tackling dummy back there, with instructions to fair catch anything in bounds . . . . . . . . . . . .

WOW only 87% at less than 30 yards?! That is HORRIBLE! I didnt remember Rolf being that bad but I do remember he didnt have much of a leg.

Ladd has already lined up as punt returner this season.... cant remember if davis was dinged up, but Ladd was back there to FC punts...... you need a smart guy with great hands in certain situations where you cannot afford a muff or bad decision...... Ladd is smarter, bigger and tougher than Davis.....

Wes Chandler lined up as punt returner in playoff game..... Coryell played alot of starters on ST's like Winslow who blocked kicks....

KA has also done it in critical situations.....

I’ve been itching to see Laviska on the field and given a chance to make a play. Very curious …

Random thought but Haskins running style reminds me of someone, can't put my finger on it but it's something I think of every time he gets a carry.
