We are peaking on O and D right now. We may be short on talent being year 1 but weve all seen low seeds make and win the superbowl before….we have a shot just like all the others.
I like it. We get an extra day of rest before playing one of the top seeds in round 2. Advantage Chargers. And this game, we both have a short week.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
    Let’s win one for Mack.

The Broncos have the 5th best scoring D in the league and we scored 34 on them.

I don't mind the early game Saturday. Like it much better than the MNF playoff game and I figured it would be early Saturday or MNF. Plus I believe this is the only time Houston has played during WC weekend.

I think the Chargers match up well against the Texans

This is what you call peaking at the right time.

Here's to keeping up the momentum going into Houston next weekend.

Last time we were the #5 seed (2 years ago) things didn't turn out so well when they absolutely should've, so no underestimating the Texans, I don't give a shit if Vegas is favoring us, the Texans have played well against better teams than the Chargers this season...

No doubt they are a good team.

It will be a challenge but this is Jim Harbaugh's time of year.

I honestly don't know what to expect from the Texans. They beat the Bills and played the Lions and Packers real tough earlier this season. They lost to the Titans. They played the Chiefs tough two weeks ago. Then they got blown out by the Ravens on Christmas.

After keeping their starters out today, they'll be well-rested against us.

Matchup-wise, the only real concern I'll have is if Slater doesn't play. I assume we'll move Alt to left tackle, which will leave Pipkins to block Will Anderson, Jr.--if he plays, as he sat out with a hand injury today.

They beat the Bills 23-20 on Oct. 6 in Houston. That is the only winning team they've beaten. They lost to the Vikings 34-7 in week 3. They lost to the Packers in Oct and Lions in Nov. Since Halloween they are 4-5. They lost back to back games against the Chiefs (27-19) and Ravens (34-2) last month. They beat the #32 Titans 23-14 today in Tenn.

You can throw today's game out. They weren't playing their starters.
