One thing that concerns me about this game is Houston is 4th in the league in sacks and Slater's status is unknown, along with Pipkins being dinged up. The interior of our line could be in for a long day.

Going to have to run the ball a lot more consistent if Slater is out.

The way I see it, QJ finally making some 50-50 catches makes Roman's playcalling better.

It could not be happening at a better time.

Even though he sailed a couple of throws today, Herbert is still playing at an elite level.

The fewest number of turnovers in NFL history, by our squad.

It is frustrating to see us stall too often, but it is getting us wins.
        We play modern Harball.

          Exactly.
When I'm feeling frustrated and playing hindsight after a failed 3rd down or overly conservative playcall, I remind myself of the macro strategy is to win possessions and TOP.
the small failures are the prices we pay for the success of this strategy.

Look at what we avoided in Baltimore:

Hopefully Haskins will improve with more touches. His effort seems to be trending upwards.

Who's coming back for this game? Perryman? Palmer? Slater?

Haskins did a nice job in the Gus role.

We can't forget about Kimani Vidal he's a decent threat and has decent hands. If they are healthy we have a strong RB core. I read if the Steelers won, we would have rested JK and used Vidal instead. Was he even active today?

He was active and was on the field for maybe for a couple or a few snaps at most.

I dont think Kimani is ever going the be the answer at the NFL level some here think. To me is a depth guy.

Lets get one of those 225 pounders in this draft. The kind we could have used at the goal line today with skill well beyond Haskins

QJ playing like a legit NFL receiver makes a big difference. All of a sudden we have Ladd and QJ, DD as a guy who can make catches with speed, Dissly and Smartt. Spread the ball around and keep it moving.
