I'd rather see Vidal in there than Haskins next week, but I'm hoping we get Gus back. Vidal has had limited opportunities this season, so in his first playoff game there's a risk of him committing a mistake (fumble, ball bouncing off of his hands into an interception, etc.) that can be quite harmful. I think we should keep it simple and stick with Dobbins and Gus (if he plays). We could give Vidal some carries to shake off the jitters if we're way ahead in the fourth quarter, which I believe could happen against the Texans.

Lets get one of those 225 pounders in this draft. The kind we could have used at the goal line today with skill well beyond Haskins
If he can't find snaps when Gus is hurt and JK is limited (to get his bonus money), then that is a bad sign.

Hate to look ahead, but I love this setup...take care of business against the Texans, and we get a revenge game against the Chiefs? Hell...I like that matchup better than Ravens or Bills...
Yea...Im assuming Steelers and Donkeys lose...who wouldnt?
But...gotta not lay an egg vs Texans...I like our chancesLone Bolt's Final Mock

Already reading some pundits writing us off so I'm glad we are being looked at as underdogs even if the betting line slightly favors us.
But you have to admit, there is a lot of like about this Chargers team heading into the playoffs:
Mistake free football
Getting elite QB play at the right time
Elite coaching
Solid defense
Run game looks better with JK back
Offense the last three weeks has looked spectacular with emergence of some unexpected playmakers
This is generally a very, very good formula for winning playoff games.
Houston has a great defense with a pair of game-wrecking pass rushers so if Slater is out, it could cause a lot of problems but I am confident Harbaugh will have these guys ready to play.

I think if we stick to controlling the TOP and play mistake free, we will break through in the second half.
This is Jim and Greg's time of year.
