They could afford him but they chose to resign, sign, and keep other guys
Any team can afford to resign any one player, Chiefs make the right decision almost always.

        Nothing.

Go to the draft and find a guy who can stretch the field
^This. Having to spend draft picks and take on a big contract for a diva head case (who is a dynamic WR no doubt) or spend the pick on a WR with no baggage and have him on a rookie contract for 4 years. They won't be as good as Hill on the field but it is still an upgrade and is low risk.

Churning the roster. Joe Hortiz is good. Team needs a big back that can pass pro added to the depth chart. The veteran Zeke fits that role. They cannot go into playoffs with Gus nursing the ankle and Haskins as the only healthy big back.
If Zeke does need to play some snaps and he picks up the blitz like he is capable of, that helps Herbert make plays. Not a flashy move but useful if and when the depth is needed.
Who has it better than us?

We missed out on Diontae Johnson and his negative mojo and brought in Zeke with his positive mojo. How is that not a win for the club.

Zeke is a HOFer with all the positive attributes that a HOFer brings. I love this signing. And he didn’t sign here to be on the PS come game day. I look forward to seeing him play this Saturday.

Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
            Let’s win one for Mack.

This team is a Super Bowl team. We can win the Super Bowl.

who is the biggest threat to the Kansas City Chiefs??? The Detroit lions nope not with those shit DBs Mahomes will shread them.

The Buffalo Bills they have the MVP nope. They can’t stop the run and the pass.

The Baltimore Ravens. Nope not with those shit Dbs.

Bingo!!!! Ding ding ding the L.A. Chargers.

Top Great defensive yep. Scoring. Defensive line to frustrate Mahomes with the shaky offensive line. Joey Bosa Khalil Mack Tutu Morgan Fox. Ponu. They don’t want to see us.

Backend Kriston Fulton Jashir Taylor Derwin James for Travis Kelce Deron Henley

We got a fucking squad. And that’s just the defense. Best defensive coordinator in football. Jesse Minter. And we are fast and we hit.

good punter J.K. Scott Damn we should’ve picked up legatron Matt Azzaria.

Kicker we have one of the best in the league. Dickens .

Super Bowl Head Coach Jim Harbaugh National Champion head coach Jim Harbaugh knows how to win big games. Knows how to win big playoff games.

Offense 6,6” superstar Quarterback to match Mahomes and yes this is a rivalry Justin Herbert.

Pro Bowl left tackle Rashawn Slater. Pro Bowl right tackle Joe Alt. Up and coming receiver Quentin Johnston Star stud receiver Lad Mackonckly

Solid veteran running back J.K. Dobbins big solid playoff tight end and you need tight ends like this in the playoffs he’s gonna be huge for us Will Disley.

and a low key signing. He’s experienced and all we need is 4 games out of him. He’s fresh. Hasn’t played that much this season. But can get those big playoff yards. Remember Lagrette Blount. And one thing you guys aren’t seeing he’s gonna do a big job of picking up the blitz on third down Zeke Ezekiel Elliot. I was calling for the signing. And it’s a great signing. Behind this offensive line with play action Herbert.

So Charger nation Charger fans show me your lightning bolts. Let’s Go!!!!!!! Turn the fuck up.!!!!!!
              YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

We were a different team then. Herbert's inj struggles and general O scheme fit was not at current level.15-, 17 L. Bummer.
I don't see Hou holding us under 20. Their avg isn't that good. We don't commit many errors , we'll score 20+.. They won't.
The bigger problem in that game is that we were getting killed in the trenches. This issue has raised it's ugly head multiple times
against the better teams. It's true we've made adjustments since then, but the interior O line still a concern.

I think keep Herbert upright and we have the obvious upper hand against Houston. Their D is legit. If they give Herbert problems
it's going to be a tight one.

They beat the teams they were supposed to beat. That’s their superpower. Did they ever lose a game they were favored to win? I can’t remember any.

And I don’t expect it to change this Saturday.

                  Go Bolts.
The Chargers were favored by 3 points versus the Buccaneers.

IMHO, this game is going to come down to the OTs vs Edges for both teams. The Texans have 2 of the best edge rushers in the game. Conversely, The Chargers edges will be going up against 2 OTs as well as an o-line that has been struggling. I think the IOL of the Texans are going to struggle against the stuns and miss-direction of the Chargers d-line. They have been struggling all year with stunts and miss-directions.
Time to put my money where my mouth is: Hampton will be better than Jeanty!

Miami gave up a fortune in picks for Tyreek. 2022 1st and 2nd and 4th, plus 2023 4th and 6th.

The scumbag should show some decency and realize what it cost Miami before he airs HIS desires publicly. It he wants out, it can be handled behind closed doors without humiliating ownership, coaches, and players.

Unfortunately, some other team will wildly overpay for this immature jerk but I hope it’s not the Chargers. Selfish players like this shouldn’t be rewarded.

He can go to the Raiders or Patriots
