Is Palmer healthy now? I know he was inactive on Sunday. If he is good to go this week we'll have Derius Davis (he gives us speed and quickness at WR... a lot like McConkey), QJ, Ladd, Palmer and Chark (who I've heard very good things about as a Detroit Lions WR). I like that group right now. Very underrated IMO.

And I'd love to see Salyer starting at RG too! In place of Pipkins. Pip can come in to give a breather for Slater once in a while but I would like to have Salyer starting for sure.

Because he was a violent criminal.... not because of talent... Chargers and alot of teams passed on him because of hois issues...

Good point. WRs can be had anywhere. I'm all about BPA in the 1st. Period. Still BPA as the rounds move along but filtered more through PON.
A BIG deal today and moving forward is Hortiz and his people. I have more confidence in them than at any time in the past.

Every single team in the NFL has a flaw or two, not one team is unbeatable. As good as the Ravens are, there is always the chance that Lamar will revert to his playoff form. The Bills, too, are prone to Superbowl-sized choking. I personally feel the Lions are the best right now, but on any given day, any team in the NFL can be beat. Just some food for thought. One game a a time, but first let's beat the Texans. Don't want to crush them, though, let's keep that underdog aura as long as we can.

I think the IOL of the Texans are going to struggle against the stuns and miss-direction of the Chargers d-line. They have been struggling all year with stunts and miss-directions.
              Now this sounds familiar . . . . . . . . . . Texans and Chargers have some interesting parallels. IMO our biggest advantage is Harbaugh and Minter . . . . . .

oh shoot - my apologies to JP, how did I forget him. He was hurt and out last game, foot something, thats my excuse. its a weak excuse, but its an excuse

Chark doesn't fit any version of "WR I feel good about".

He fell to the 5th due to the person he is, not what he does on the field. Not many people as classless as fat Andy that are willing to look the other way as he does his slow motion train wreck off the field antics over and over.

Don't know if this was already posted somewhere, but Slater practiced today. We'll find out more when today's injury report is released.

                          Popper:

Salyer was at RG with the starting O line during individual drills today.
Rashawn Slater was practicing with a sleeve on his left leg.
