When I was a boy in the '60s I used to have dreams about a past life that to this day I feel pretty strongly I did indeed live. My most recent past life before this life. I was born into this life in 1957. In my previous life I was a salesman in Chicago. I drove a lot. I was killed in an auto accident while driving a 1949/50 Ford Tudor. I was about 40. I also believe I was alive in the 1890s, in another previous life. I'm fascinated with that time period, and when I read about it or see photos from that era, it seems very familiar.

I have read about the kid you are talking about, dying after being shot down in WWII. He was adamant. It's so similar to my own experience.

First thing I thought of when I turned on the news this morning is if the Chargers are going be able to practice outdoors this week. Palisades is only about 10 air miles from The Bolt. Then cmplxgal posted a tweet saying the Chargers were limiting outside time. They may have to fly to a different place to finish practicing. The Rams are hosting a playoff game at SoFi this weekend.

I suspect the game will be moved. Emergency and security personnel are tied up. City management is tied up. The City needs the water. The air may be bad. It could be a location in waiting for a terrorist to make a statement while the world is watching. There are just too many negatives going on right now with no potential end date.

I think it's very interesting that Eli Apple is listed on the injury report. According to ESPN reporter Kris Rhim, the Chargers have opened his 21-day window for activation from the IR. He and Fehoko appear to be the last two with a chance to come off the IR this season. The only two others still on IR from earlier in the season are ASJ and Rice.

The NFL said Wednesday that a playoff game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Minnesota Vikings scheduled for Monday night at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, would be moved to State Farm Stadium, the Phoenix-area home of the Arizona Cardinals, if necessary.

“The NFL’s priority is the safety of the Los Angeles community,” the league said in a statement. “We are grateful for the tireless efforts of the first responders. Our hearts are with Los Angeles and everyone affected by the fires. We continue to prepare to play the Vikings-Rams game as scheduled Monday night at SoFi Stadium. As with all games, there are contingency plans in the event a change in location is needed. … We will continue to closely monitor developments in the area and will remain in contact with public officials, both clubs and the NFLPA.”
