Was the Super Bowl Rigged?

I brought this up during the SB thread, and a lot of you laughed at me. First of all, I DO believe many of the games during this season were rigged in FAVOR of the Cheatin Chiefs...all the questionable calls...the reversals after a TV time out, etc...however, I also believe the SB may well have been rigged AGAINST the Chefs...WHY? MONEY! It's always about the MONEY!

Consider this:

• Mahomes stepped INTO the pass rush REPEATEDLY for sacks, strips, etc...this is highly uncharacteristic for Patrick...yes, he does rush up the middle on occasion, but when there's a ferocious pass rush like the Eagles, he'll typically step off to his right, scramble to buy time and pass it, OR take off downfield for big gainers...we did see him do this late in the game a bit, but by that time, the Eagles already had a huge lead.

• The Chefs in the first half were uncharacteristically awful, with only 23 total yards gained, one first down, and trailing 24-0:

• Mahomes was wildly inaccurate through about 3 quarters, until he finally started connecting in garbage time...could this be due to the Eagles pass rush? Maybe. Maybe not. It's just hard for me to believe he could suddenly get THAT bad...

• Finally, we all know the NFL has an actual PARTNERSHIP with 4 online gambling companies...it looks sleazy, and it IS sleazy...would there be a temptation to fix games to make money? HELLO! Yes! Can I prove it? No, but is sure looks suspicious. All season long, questionable calls were mostly in favor of the Chiefs. Then suddenly, in SB 2025 many questionable calls went AGAINST the Chiefs. Particularly revealing is the number of high rolling gamblers who bet in FAVOR of the Eagles, and this was BEFORE the game:

Should have been given to someone on the Eagles defense, not Jalen Hurts.

Not saying he was bad, but he wasn't exactly the difference maker. Take away all those turnovers and pick sixes, and it's a different ballgame.

Maybe he didn't bet on the Chefs leading up to the SB...or on the Eagles right BEFORE the SB...maybe he wasn't a member of The Club...remember, the Club members need plenty of suckers to take up their bets...

He's an insider/club employee. He should have at least known about the existence of the script don't you think?

My favorite one is the guy who owns Barstool Sportsbook screaming it's fixed when he loses $1 million dollars on an NFL bet. I think he should at least know better. 🤣

Gambling is an extremely dangerous, all consuming addiction for many and there's enormous money involved. Of course there's illegal activity.
I'm just shocked and offended that the NFL openly partners with organized gambling.

Chiefs did not run the ball well starting off, and then they had to abandon the run.
The big early deficit forced them to pass on most downs.

Mahomes had no where to go except move up in the pocket to buy time. Philly edges where bull rushing and keeping Mahomes in the pocket.
Watch Mahome's tape at Texas Tech and that was his forte, moving up in the pocket to avoid pressure and buy time.
He was deadly doing that.

Reid tried to roll Mahomes right, but you can't do that every play - defense only having to defend one half of the field.

Chiefs got exposed on offense .... they have weaknesses on the Oline that the Chargers exposed a bit.
They didn't have the horses at receiver to win one on one battles consistently and quickly.
No dynamic receiving options out of the backfield.

Chiefs D played okay - but they have average pass rushers outside of Chris Jones,
and the Eagles interior kept him in check. KC had to blitz to get pressure, and you can't do that all game.


Their secondary is solid, but not great ... McDuffie was not a lock down corner last night and the other corners are average at best.
Good safeties who know the scheme well ... but again, not great.

Bolton and Leo Chenal are liabilities in coverage ... and Philly had a good tight end and rb to exploit that.

Disagree, Hurts had a very good game .... granted that he had time to make reads.

He sealed the deal early in the 2nd half with timely scrambles.
I only wish Herbert was better at that.

Mahomes is lighter and a tick slower than Herbert, but he's a far better scrambler because he sees the field so well.

It's a matter of recognition, and I don't know if Herbert will ever get there.
Perhaps a year more with the same coordinator not named Lombo.

The AFC has been surpassed by the NFC.

Philly, Detroit for sure ..... Redskins and Rams are on the ascendence.

Chiefs and Bills are very beatable. Ravens are who they are .... questions about Jackson and losing it in big games abound.
How much more does the perrenially injured Ronnie Stanley have?

Cincy is a mess.
