Yeah that contract was too much. Still leaving the door open to him resigning but it’s probably a long shot, someone will overpay for his name.

we wont miss him too much. there will be fewer offside penalties on us, giving opponents unearned yards. And whoever replaces him may even give us 15 out of 17 games!

Some have suggested that he may return at a lower cost, but I think it's time to move on.

His 72 sacks are second all-time in Chargers history. Leslie O'Neal still leads the franchise with 105.5 (he finished his career with 132.5 overall).

Hopefully we can soon find a pass-rusher who can get 150 sacks in a Chargers uniform.

I was a big fan of Bosa when we drafted him. Unfortunately, there were too many injuries that kept him off the field.
IMO, the pass rushers are weak at the top of the draft... no one to replace Joey's talent level this draft.
Draft some depth in the 3rd or 4th round. Essentially, have to re-sign Mack.
If Mack doesn't come back... go after the next best pass rushing free agent.
              Protect the QB
              Run the ball
              Play great defense

Will miss the talent. He has some great moments still in front of him…but also more injuries and that is why u dont pay him $30m+ right now….we can sign 4-5 good vets for the $25m savings and we will need it. Good luck Joey….unless you sign in the Afc West….gotta be real here.

His Mom was campaigning for him to join SF before he was released and was hostile and ungrateful towards the Chargers from the time he was negotiating his rookie contract.

                      F the Bosa’s!

So glad we freed up that cap space.

His departure was going to be my farewell signal to the Chargers after the move, but still here, lol. Best wishes to Joey, don't hurt Justin Herbert if you hit him in the future.

I might consider Green in round one.

The sweet spot is @ #55, with a strong possibility of double dipping.

Let's see what kind of run there is at EDGE early round two.

I believe Mack will exercise his well earned right to explore and prolly sign elsewhere.

We will do the 2025 version of offing KA/MW and go faster, younger, just as strong now, with a midrange UFA as a likely starting move.
                          We play modern Harball.
