I'm happy that Najee is with the team physically, even though he can't suit up yet. The fact that he's outside walking around is better than being confined for treatment 24/7. It appears to me that healing is just a matter of time and he's getting closer.

Yeah, it seems like an explosive went right off into his face and he got facial burns. I go that impression from the photo yesterday. Very lucky!

The two photos look the same and I don't think Popper photoshopped his...he's heavily bandaged around his face, that image someone posted of two face might actually end up being accurate...for his sake and the sake of his career I hope his right eye is okay...that's a lot of bandaging so not encouraging to see this...

The fact that his agent's initial statement spoke only about being ready for the start of the season with no mention of training camp was troubling off the bat. Not "oh God, the eye loss rumors were true!!!" troubling, but "oh that's probably pretty bad..." troubling, considering that his agent would play it as optimistic as he reasonably could.

I hadn't seen the quote about a coach asking for divine intervention on Najee's part. I'm sure that's always welcome but I question the soliciting.

I wish they could strap some goggles or something on his face to fully protect his healing eyes and get him running in a few plays. Not like he’s gonna get blind side blasted by a defender, they aren’t hitting.

I suspect it’s because of NFI designation legaleses and team risk of eating his contract if they let him practice. lawyers fuck everything up, is my point.
