Yep I know exactly what that is, it’s feed me more. But the problem is JK will be at best splitting carries with Najee, and I don’t think he would be willing to do that.

I also believe it would be in his best interest to interest to split carries because he could be at peak and limit injuries but NFL players have egos and I don’t think Dobbins is immune from that. I would love to be wrong, it would be amazing to see Najee, Dobbins and Skattebo in our RB room next year. 🔥

If I’ve gone thru the injury torture that he has his entire short career - I take the money. This is a business, this is his job. You don’t take a huge pay cut to work with a buddy if you may not even get a job next year. You bank it now. You’re not getting that much cash from the playoffs (which they should fix imo).

nobody should be upset with him at all. He gave us what he had, he worked as hard as he could, and he produced for us. He needs to think about his entire life, his family, his long term future. And Joe needs to do what is best for LAC - I’d love him back but those two objectives may not align.

Dobbins is ok at that but Najee is the bigger more reliable sledge hammer.
49ers RB draft picks under Harbs/Roman. 2 smaller RBs then 2 larger RBs. The only thing I can think of is the switch from Alex Smith (pocket passer) to Kaepernick (running QB).
I think they want to maximize Herbert's pocket passing hence why I think they'll draft a smaller catching back.

        2011 - Kendall Bernell Hunter

        Position: RB

        5-7, 199lb (170cm, 90kg)

        2012 - LaMichael Keondrae James

        Position: RB

        5-8, 190lb (173cm, 86kg)

        2013 - Marcus Lattimore

        Position: RB

        5-11, 221lb (180cm, 100kg)

        2014 - Carlos Hyde

        Position: RB

        6-0, 229lb (183cm, 103kg)

Yeah that could be. It’s interesting to see what happens, on the other hand Harbaugh left the 9ers because of issues with GM Baalke and CEO York. It could be that Harbaugh only got to shop for half the groceries, or less. It will be interesting to see!
