Man, if you go on multiple Reddit pages, Andre James gets lambasted by all of Raider Nation. Like, literally not 1 fan had anything good to say about him. They say he falls on his ass a lot and he can't pass or run block for shit. I try not to go on PFF, but that is everyone's basis on Reddit with this guy. They see low numbers and they assume he's trash. Yet, in 2023, he was the 12th ranked Center in football by PFF. I just... don't know what to believe. I haven't seen enough of him.

He was better in 2023 because they ran a gap scheme similar to us. Then the scheme changed in 2024. I would still draft a future Center if possible. But it’s not as big of a priority.

The other thing was that James was hampered by injuries in 2024. Even in an off year he gave up 17 pressures to Bozeman's 30 pressures.

I'll take that! Very nice signing. I'm thinking James must be all healthy now. This is fantastic. Now we can go full throttle for skill positions on offense (minus QB's). Maybe pick up a Center/Guard guy in the draft on day three to cultivate for later. At least we're buying low on this James guy. .
