    2025 Official NFL Draft At Thepowderblues.com - Day 1, Round 1

It's here, the 2025 NFL Draft starts 8pm Eastern, 24 April, live from Green Bay

In the US, the draft is available on ABC (Broadcast TV), NFL Network and ESPN.

Spoiler rules.. Do not post the picks here or a Welcome Thread until it is announced on stage on live TV. Streamers will probably be spoiled anyway, can't help that. I think there still are reporters who are close to the stage who will know what is on the card, but don't spoil it here if you read it on X or wherever.

The Draft superthread will remain open, but will not be stickied during the draft.

Draft Round 1 starts, Post #171

    Chargers pick, Post #675

One thing like death and taxes.

ESPN will cut to commercial or a lame interview during the Chargers pick.

LFG!!! Loveland, Booker, Harmon, Grant, Egbuka is my ranked cluster...

Honestly, Ill be hard to disappoint...CB? Henderson? Screw it...Im in...just excited to meet our new Bolt!

I did leave Golden out of my final cluster...saw him on Eisen...maybe its petty, but didnt warm to him...didnt like attitude/demeanor...and he couldnt even remember that he visited the Chargers!? Gimme Egbuka if its receiver...

Gonna stick with my sig mock...but Im leaning towards Wu and a few others on predicting Egbuka...very smart, safe pick...
          Lone Bolt's Final Mock

Tyler Booker G, Josaiah Stewart Edge, Cam Skattebo RB, Mitchell Evans TE, Jamaree Caldwell NT, Isaac TeSlaa WR, Ahmed Hassanein DE, Craig Woodson S, Eli Cox C, Kalel Mullings RB

Sleeper day 3 pick: Tahj Brooks RB Texas Tech

LFG. And I haven’t a clue how this is going to go.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
            Let’s win one for Mack.

The more I read about where the teams above us are leaning, the better I feel about the cluster of players that will be available for JH.

Favorite pick: Colston Loveland. The guy Im really crossing my fingers for....

Most sensible pick: Tyler Booker. With him and Becton, our oline is finally a strength.

Most likely pick: Emeke Egbuka. Lotta 11th hour buzz...I think Wu and a few others may have nailed it...also think he may be safest pick...very unlikely to disappoint.

Worst pick: Shemar Stewart. The only pick that I think has full out bust potential.

Most boring pick: Grant. I like the prospect...and it makes sense...but more for the future...I dont see the needle moving much year one...but we know him very well...if we take him, I have faith he will be a nice anchor for that dline for years to come.

Reach picks: I would be ok with Mason Taylor or Donovan Jackson. Taylor has been hashed over, but Jackson overlooked on TPBs. Slightly less the mean streak mauler, but more agile and tecnically sound than Booker...played out of position and did a great job at LT for the championship Buckeyes...my sleeper pick at #22. He is a LG...possibly our weakest position....like Booker, makes too much sense...

                Finally....Draft Day is here!!! LFG!!!

                  What's everyone's thoughts?

                  Chaos, trades, madness?

Or just a mundane, orderly draft?

                    Hot takes...

Jerry running his mouth...watch the Cowboys trade up into top 10...

I think If Shedur makes it past Pittsburgh...and maybe even BEFORE he gets there, Cleveland makes the trade of the draft, and keeps Travis Hunter and Sanders together...

I think Miami tries to make Mason Taylor a legacy...either the first round reach, trade back, or trade up from their second round spot to take him...their HC is an odd egg...I could see him making a dramatic move like that.

Mike Green slides...DJ didnt even mock him in the first...maybe knows some info about teams souring on those off field allegations....

With respect to Cleveland, I had the same feeling that they may want to keep Shedur and Hunter together.
