QJ has shown he is not a boundary vertical threat and is best used on crosses and bubble screens and the like. Maybe some digs - but sidelines, not his strength
MWill - needs to show he can play 12 games plays
Conklin - nice signing but he has his skill set. I like the signing but he is what he is
None of the players you listed above besides Ladd should stop the Chargers from trying to upgrade the X WR position and a long term answer at TE.
IMV not as much as yesterday.
I would not dismiss value in the specialized albeit limited tools we already have, including Dissly.
Nor would I underplay the value we place in WR blocking, which would bring up MW, QJ and maybe Keenan.
We'll see B4K, I suspect we liked Tet, maybe Golden somewhat, and who knows what juicy weapon is there at #55.
I have pivoted, post "Hammer" Hampton selection. We play modern Harball.

#2 Center/OG
#3 Edge depth to go with Mack, Tui, Dupree, Morris Brash/Collins
#4 WR (Deep draft...lots of 5' 10" guys remain that are good/fast, reliable) + KEENAN ALLEN. (Would have Ladd, Keenan, QJ, MDub, this #4 pick, DD)
#5 TE Gadsen (Stats/productivity greater than Loveland, Arroyo, Mason Taylor - An absolute STEAL here!)
#5 DT 464 Lb Watson
#6 LB depth (Dolec 6 sacks, 5 int; Simon 7 sacks)
#6 DT
#7 CB depth (we signed St Juste(1) and Jackson(2)....Still(3) and Hart(4) are depth.....Leanard is the #5 CB). This pick competes with Jasir Taylor.
#7 OT another body to compete w/ Pipkins, Tyler McClellan (high on McClellan -- had 6 yrs of college exposure at OT)
All areas covered on the team starting w/ trenches in Round #2, and #3. Mostly Ending in Trenches in #6 and #7

A bit on the fence with the selection of Hampton. Just my opinion, but think there are impactful RBs that will be around in rounds4/5. But I trust the Chargers brain trust. Would not have minded a ‘reach’ for Taylor @22. If there is no trade up in round 2 and no Taylor, would love Landon Jackson.

I am all about getting a good running game but the Lions were able to still create mismatches in the passing game even with the solid 1/2 running back model.
Thats my vision: LaPorta, Amon Ra St Brown and the veritcal threat of Jameson Williams

I doubt Higgins or Taylor are there - -but if one gets to the upper 40's - cash it in Joe and make a move
