Hard to see football footage of BT but I watched his offense vs a few teams and he looks stout and carries his weight well.
I can't wait to see him in camp.
Im hopeful he is the guard we were looking for…guards come in all rounds but usually take time to develop. But if James shows up as our solid center i think Taylor could work as a rookie.
Hopefully this lights a fire under Zion or anyone to fight hard for the LG spot. We get that in good shape and the run game and protection has to be improved. Im excited to see our new backs behind a GOOD line consistently blocking for them. That will fo wonders for the pass game especially wiyh our new weapons in the pass game.

Zion never struck me as being lazy and needing motivation. Have you seen rumors or any other evidence of that?
It’s a harsh thing to say about a player who by all accounts I’ve seen busts his ass working out and trying to improve his game.
Sometimes the DL opposing you is just more athletically talented or in tandem with your Center you got out foxed by a stunt.
Opposing DC’s knew our Tackles were stout so they schemed last season to focus the penetration on the IOL.
I would bet 100 to 1 Taylor isn’t an upgrade as a rookie.

Zion is puzzling. He works his ass off in the gym, the guy is a beast. He goes to Duke Merriweather with Slater every off season to work on his craft. He is pretty athletic. He is smart, a computer science major.
Why cant he put it together on Sundays 3 years in?

Zion would make for a good Python/C-Sharp developer but perhaps a poor Cisco Certified Cybersecurity Professional.
Best thing. Topcat
does not have to worry about him being poached.
I guess Taylor's poachability probability will in part be influenced by his performance in TC and PS games...I'd like to see him give Zion some real competition at that LG spot...let the cream rise to the top...la crème de la crème...

Zion's problems do not appear to be physical or lack of effort. It seems much more he just doesn't have football IQ, regardless of whether he is smart enough to be a CS major.

Yep...that would explain why he has so many problems picking up stunts...
