Trikweze (TRY-kwez) Bridges, one of three kids, grew up in Lanett, Ala. Several of his relatives played college football, including his father (Tremayne), who was a wide receiver at Florida A&M. At Lanett High, Bridges earned all-state honors three straight years and as a junior safety (104 tackles, 10 interceptions) and receiver led the team to the 2017 Class 1A state championship. He also led the basketball team to multiple state titles (his mother, Marcilyn Patrick, is a former basketball player).
A three-star recruit, he spurned several SEC offers (including one from Alabama) to sign with Oregon. After five years in Eugene, he transferred to the SEC for his super-senior season. He came off the bench early before becoming a starting safety and then a corner, leading the Gators in tackles and allowing just 14 catches (no touchdowns) in 2024.
An impressive athlete for his size, Bridges can press and use his impressive length to reroute receivers. He closes distance well from off coverage and arrives with physicality. Overall, Bridges has the tools and versatility to match up with size at receiver, and his impressive testing likely guaranteed him a long look in an NFL training camp.

He has a really good set of tools. Looks like his floor is the Practice Squad, and depending on how the dominoes fall with a number of other circumstances, his ceiling is Alohi Gilman.Comment

I really like him .... very good tackler from the brief video I saw. Underwear results were very good.
Might be a steal .... fringe benefit of the coaching staff just coming from college.
