Oh, I definitely agree he's doin' the right thing. Tough situation.... plus, he's dealing with the Bolts' melt-down. Double-edged sword, good luck, good luck with that, Buck....

-I hate that we suck on third down on both sides of the ball (still).
-I hate that we are still mental midgets.
-I loathe that we were winning by 21 points but were somehow losing the battles in the trenches up to that point.
-I hate that after our second possession in the 2nd half (our first 2nd half 3/out), I was super worried we were hoing to lose.
-I hate that collectively, San Diego teams lack gnads when they really really need them.
      -I love SoCal weather. -

There IS "good news" -- He says this may have sealed it, he's done with her (Gee, ya THINK?)...Except that he has to pick her up at the SDPD drunk tank at 1:30am. OMG.... There's more, but let's wait for the official post from Buck...
Must have been some awesome "make up sex" for Buck to go back for thirds ... the guy is so loyal ...

I didn't stay up to watch it, saved it for today after work. How painful is this going to be? Will beer be enough to numb the pain?

Abandoning the run (or inability to run)

              The inevitable blown lead

As good as Rivers looked most of the game he defined his day w/that pick six and lack of drive sustaining completions (whether it was his fault or not)

Is Matthews on our team in the 2nd half of games???

Guys, I'm really sorry I made that post last night. Things got worse after that, but luckily everything has been resolved.

I do want to say in regards to her messing up 2 other live events, that was a little harsh of me. We were going to go to a concert and didn't go because her dog drowned. I was very upset last night, and I'm a piece of crap for even bringing that up.

Sorry to hear, Buck. No worries. Bad news about the pup; that's not trivial. She probably should have stayed home, in retrospect. I would have. Just a note: You can delete any post that you make here. Just edit your post, click the 'Delete' button (at the bottom), check the "Delete' box (which pops up, also at the bottom), and then click the 'Delete Post' button. Clumsy, 4-step delete; but it's saved me a couple of times.

That is, UNLESS someone else replies to your post "With Quote". THEN, your original post is embedded within the replying person's post, & your post is now archived as long as his/her post is around. LOL.

Yup, still deletes YOUR original post, but since the view is embedded in someone else's post, it sticks around and can't be deleted (by the originator).

I completely agree about her not going after her dog died. I was just so angry last night that I tried spinning the situation into a negative on her. I'm not proud of what I said.

Getting to the game, man....that was a fucking bummer.

Hate 3rd and long conversions. Safeties/DBs just not tightening up & protecting middle of field. Not sure why rookie Addai is part of nickel/dime, as he was way off on two 3rd-long conversions. Also, with all the balls that Andre Johnson caught, no one put a decent lick on him. One thing that Jammer was good at doing, to rattle receivers
Loved how Bront Bird was around the ball & played the run, but he's deficient against pass. Houston went after him twice in end-zone for TDs, where Pagano just failed to adjust. Are we that thin on LBs, or at least pass-cover ones.

I wish Rivers can pace himself emotionally, he exerts so much energy starting the game, that he seems to tire toward the end, and his passes become off-target or die down & hit the ground short.
Great game plan/management by McCoy/Whiz, though failed to come up with critical calls in 4th, as Houston was stacking up line of scrimmage. But much falls on receivers for not taking advantage of one-on-ones and all the space left open downfield. Good receivers would feast on such formations.

Running game, still AWOL. Not much going with OL/RBs on that front. OL pass protection is better than last year, but failed to adjust to Texans blitz several times, where someone would have clear path to QB.
