We dropped because both the Eagles and Titans won with the Eagle's win being pretty impressive.

I'm glad it said ESPN in the link. Saved me from a waste of my time in clicking it.

Power rankings don't matter until they do.

Of course losses matter. But after one game, are you really throwing in the towel?

Talent level questions aside (and I don't know of anyone here that thinks we have sufficient talent to compete for the playoffs), did we really think there wouldn't be an adjustment period with a new staff, a completely new offensive line, a largely reshuffled receiver corps, half of the starters at LB (and minus a highly touted draft choice) and 3/4 of the starters at DB as new? Given all of the above, I thought there was a high probability we would be blown out by a clearly superior team. That we played as well as we did was a revelation to me.

0-1. And a brutal way to lose. No way around it. But there are 15 games left. The staff has an opportunity to grow and improve. The young players have a chance to grow and improve. As I said before the season, we will learn a lot about McCoy's ability to teach and lead this season. We'll also learn a lot about how creative he and his staff can be. Guess I just don't see the point in all the bitterness and negativity.

I am amazed that we kept up with the Texans, not to mention being in the lead for most of the game. I did not expect that at all.

We were 7-9 last year - about 2 games short of the post season.
I figure the Norv factor must have cost us 2 or 3 games per year.
Just hoping the new coaching staff is better.

Agree to disagree. There's a three year track record and we have less talent and depth than any of those years.
