If it makes anyone feel any better the local radio station runs a promo where they say... "Sorry Chargers fans, Hochuli called it a forward pass...we are mile high sports"

What makes everyone think we would have actually won that game even if the call was not made? It's 28-17 (instead of 28-21). After the Cushing INT it's 28-24. So, instead of settling for a FG at the end of the game, the Texans march it down for a TD. Final: 31-28 Texans. Does anybody REALLY think the Chargers were going to stop them from scoring a TD? Really?

No saying what might have happened. If they make the stop, they at least slow down the Houston momentum a bit. With the score on the very next play, the floodgate continued...

This times about a thousand....the Chargers didn't deserve to win, and this proves it.

Would they have had time left to score, and they would have needed a TD to win a FG wouldnt cut it.

Just be happy for replay or we would of been screwed on 3 other calls.

Johnson's TD, Browns TD and Johnsons catch before half. ALL WRONG CALLS.

Sure seems funny how they ALWAYS go against us.

I can't tell if this is supposed to be humor or not but those were not wrong calls. The league reviewed the penalty and said it was a wrong call. Hence the thought that the calls go against us. Just like the Broncos game a few years ago.

Pagano agrees. His entire philosophy was to slow them down to within inches of the end zone at the final gun, and that call ruined everything.

The issue is the referee's nullified a stop when the Chargers were struggling to make anything positive happen. They gave the Texans the ball back and pushed them 15 yards closer to the end zone. Now it's been officially acknowledged that the officials made a big error. Who knows what would have happened in the end, there's that whole butterfly effect. But an 11 point lead is miles better than a 7 point lead, and even more so when you're just trying to survive the last quarter of the game.
