Freeling is clearly athletic, but he was downright brutal in the drills. Couldn’t keep his footing at all. I heard a clip of him talking, saying the turf was bad and that he was better at the UGA Pro Day. Still, he was so bad in the drills that there has to be a line of demarcation here. If we’re being honest, Freeling is still more potential than pure high floor guy. There’s still work to be done in terms of player development and it showed there.

I know it doesn’t say it at the top, but I watched plenty of Georgia this past year. I never viewed Freeling as a banger elite prospect. He’s only a one year starter, and I didn’t think the Georgia OL was overly dominant like in years past. Earnest Greene was brutal all year too.

I couldn’t pull the trigger on Freeling where he’s being mocked. I think he’s more of a second round player for me. If you think this guy is a guaranteed save your franchise elite tackle prospect, we’re not on the same page with that one, dawg.

He’s more of a physically imposing guy rather than one of these freakier dancing bear types. This is the kind of stuff you’re getting, not a footwork king.

I think consensus is a tick high with this one. I’m not positive he’s the best guard, but he can clearly play. Late first / early second rounder to me. Should be a capable starting guard for a long time.

If Indiana RB Kaelon Black falls to #204 do you draft him?

PFF has him going top of the 6th rnd, but I've read he could fall, maybe to the 7th or even UDFA.

Seems like he'd be too good to pass up at #204, maybe not the biggest need but BPA.

I won't go that far either way with Mendoza, since he hasn't taken an NFL snap yet. I will say that him going to the Raiders doesn't scare me. They are not the Eagles or Seahawks.

Give them a couple more seasons of high draft picks and they will turn it around. I was just pointing out that Mendoza SEEMS to be at least that level of quality on the surface. You just need good QB play + a really good team around you to make noise.

That remains to be seen. Their high draft pick from last season, Ashton Jeanty, was outperformed by Kimani Vidal. I'm not sure how you're drawing that conclusion, unless you know for a fact that Klint Kubiak is a savior capable of turning one of the worst franchises of the last 25 years into a powerhouse.

Once again, I'm not worried about it.

Kelly's offense was an offensive train wreck. I wouldn't count that kid out. Kubiak has yet to coach a football team, or even a football game, a lot of heavy expectations on him that I don't know he'll carry (or not).

LVR is going to have an ample roster stocking from the draft though. They can fix a lot of pieces if they draft well. Enough? beats me ...

Here's another WR that could be exactly what McDaniel needs! Maybe he'll be there in the 3rd round!

They have had high draft picks for 18 of the last 20 years and still suck. Spytek has not shown he is a good GM yet and this is his second draft after enduring 1 draft from Telesco prior to Spytek.

Tom Brady does nothing for me as a part owner.

On the local news this morning there is another guy, actually two that have been approved for a bigger stake in the Raiders and it isnt Tom Brady.

Here is the news on it:

NFL owners approved a deal on March 31, 2026, for
                    Egon Durban
                    (co-CEO of Silver Lake) and
                    Michael Meldman
to increase their stake in the
                    Las Vegas Raiders
to roughly 15% combined. The deal, which values the team at over $11 billion, includes a 3.5% stake increase immediately, with another 3.5% planned for later, and establishes Durban as the designated successor to majority owner Mark Davis.
                    .

                    Key Details of the Agreement:
                    • Succession Plan: The NFL approved a plan giving
                      Durban
the right of first refusal to purchase
                      Mark Davis
's controlling interest if he decides to sell.
                    • Ownership Split: Following this transaction,
                      Davis
will hold approximately 30% of the team, reduced from his previous 40% stake.
                    • Valuation: The deal values the franchise at roughly $11.1 billion, with the new, increased stake costing an additional $777 million, according to reports.
                    • No Immediate Change:
                      Davis
indicated that despite the sale, he has no immediate plans to sell his controlling interest.
                    • Existing Partners:
                      Durban
                      and
                      Meldman
have been minority owners since December 2024, holding a combined 15% stake, following earlier investments by
Tom Brady,Richard Seymou, and Tom Wagner.
                    • Davis sited he has no Children or a Wife so is setting up a successor plan if something happens to him ..

Perhaps and ive seen an article saying when he was fired that Jeanty went back to his old RB stance prior to the ball snap as if that makes a difference. The only difference was he was standing more upright than with his hands on his thighs a bit hunched down that Kelly wanted him to do.

If that makes you more comfortable, great but he really only had 1 good game after Kelly was fired and that was against Houston on Dec 28th and had a better game, his best with Kelly against Chicago on Sept 28.

I think in the later rounds -- if the pick is 204 and a guy like Black is ranked on your board in the 140s and the best OL for example is 180's -- you take Black
But if they are like 181 and 186 - so pretty close - probably go need.
