A corporate takeover, followed by a downsizing with most of the whole department losing their job all at once. Sounds like a mass layoff to me over any employee getting fired for perfomance

There is only one fact we do know...that all 32 NFL teams are customers of PFF and pay them money for the data PFF produces. These NFL teams clearly pay PFF good money because the professional side of PFF is the reason Teamworks gave Collinsworth 100 million for PFF. Teamworks have clearly demonstrated the consumer side of PFF is not a priority to them as the new owners

You keep saying how useless it is and how maybe it can be improved. What you have not explained is why all 32 NFL teams have been paying money for years to use PFF data in their analytics. Do you think NFL teams don't know what they are doing and don't know what useful football data is?

After watching that Im glad I didn't give them a dime.

To make the hour and 20 min short, ( they started talking about other things after 1:20 or so).....badly mismanaged. Top brass didn't listen, focused on just making money but clueless how to run it properly. But you can listen and decide.

I usually don't listen to long podcasts and every time I was going to stop, they would say more interesting dirt.

Bald guy said a guy named George and Collinsworth Son Austin ran it in the ground and Collinsworth kid did not know what he was doing but Daddy put him in charge.

Chris Collinsworth invested initially 6 mil , let his Son run it and he we are. Collinseorth and his Son make the bag for selling it. They had a different grading system and CC wanted to change it to what is it today. They didn't like that.

Many other variables going on but wow. So I'm not wrong for thinking it was not to be taken seriously. According to those there who were there from day one, other people weren't interested in making it great, just how much money they could make.

Many team are paying large sums of money for data and analytics. There is a lot of evidence that many teams really don't know what they are doing. Just because all teams pay into PPF doesn't mean much. New England succeeded because they knew what they needed and they took advantage of other teams NOT knowing what they were doing.
Atlanta and now Raiders are paying Cousins a ton of $$ for what. A veteran QB who is not terrible? Atlanta bosses all got fired because of the Cousins fiaco.
