Nobody here has suggested drafting a nonstarter in the 1st. Some feel the hole at LG overrides BPA, especially in this draft that lacks 22 guys with a first round grade, pretty simple to understand.
Only 16 attending in the green room speaks volumes. An all time low by far I’m guessing.

Jeremiah said this draft - after the top 15 players, is a bunch of singles and doubles player
When I see Bisontis at 22 - I can see him being a solid player this year
Faulk - he might get there - -but I think he has a ways to to go

So if picking between Bisontis or Faulk - I am taking the guy who can play, this year

So Kiper and Renner are both now saying it's Peter Woods.

          Interesting chart.
Chargers are not all that crazy.

Robert Mays had that on his podcast
            hated the pick
Granted Kimes gave Brugler shitty options for the Chargers n so it wasn't just Mays
I just don't see IDL at 22. That scream reach to me. If you are reaching, reach for Bisontis

No they aren't. They look very average. Not getting great value when they pick, but also not reaching too much either.

Dallas looks bipolar, getting great value but also reaching quite a bit as well.

                So there's a 99 percent chance that won't happen.

                  That's right.
                  Mouton and McKitty don't count.

                    That is a nice chart.

My take-away is that drafting away from consensus isn't necessarily a bad thing. Some terrible teams near the top of that graph, and some good ones at/near the bottom.

Of course the last five years includes three years with the previous regime. Like to see just the JH/JH era.

                      That would be cool.

Daniel Popper always makes sense. I don't know if his draft mailbag had already been posted, but here it is. His stance on QJ is that QJ is a value player in 2026 who is ascending, it would make no sense to trade him for a low return. They want to see him MM's offense. That said, will they pick up his 5th year option? Probably not, for 18 million reasons.

He dives deep into the OL options in the draft and opines the Chargers will not wait until day 3 to draft their 1st OL.

                        https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/719...-mailbag-2026/

I like Popper, and assuming he has enough sense to stay away from secluded romantic resorts with married women who are not his wife.

Again, Jets have the most draft capital and will again next year with 3 first round picks.
Steelers have 12 picks, Dolphins next with 11.
Maybe the top 3 candidates for a trade down.
So many IOL in rounds 3 and 4 who would upgrade depth.
