I think it is best practice to do so.

Also, If I were coach, the ONLY players who dont suit up and go through warmups, etc, just like a real gsme are injured players....even if you are not scheduled to play, you should still go through the process of suiting up and warmups....

That is part of being mentally ready.

Haskins is very useful on special teams too.. He’s looked really good this preseason so far running between tackles.

Harbaugh visited Thunder Alley before the game to soak up the energy and vibes. Said it "knocked his socks off. I'm not wearing socks."

Agreed, I think Sanders makes the roster with his upside. Could end up being a faster Haskins.
Vidal less likely to get poached off the PS.

Haskins has been the best RB in both pre season games

agree!..... back in Fouts/Coryell era, the starters played one series in all pre season games and if they played mistke free, the starters got to rest.... so the starters played flawlessly, quickly drove down the field, scored a TD and then sat down rest of the game.... they were that good!

and the team tackled one another in practice.... and they had far fewer injuries than teams do today..... tackling helps players learn how to be tackled and the proper way to fall down....like marshal arts people who learn early in training how to fall and roll, etc to avoid getting hurt.... I think sometimes some players over muscle their bodies and bones and tendons cannot handle how strong muscles have been made...our bodies are not built for some of the insane physical things we put them through....

Then the backups with Luther or others at QB proceeded to continue to score points till the final gun.... they refused to stop scoring points.... lol loved that attitude.... made for very entertaining games.... lol

                  defense, was another story.... lol

Today, we are showing we can score points AND play defense!.... the present and future are bright!

Hasskins has played well....solid back who does well at everything but not special at any one thing.... he is better than Vidal.... but not as special as Hampton, Harris, Sanders and Hinds who all have elite skills in certain areas....

I have not read thru this so I assume some of you are pleased with Lance being the number 2 QB but really throwing the ball he want good today, not was Heinicke.

Yet for to play way more and was only 7 of 14 for 55 yards and a 3.9 ypa . The isn't good but he was effective when his legs. That's the only thing that made him look good.

I'm not against him as I seriously don't care who wins the#2 job as I hope whoever it is, never actually plays in a game. Just want one that is more capable than Stick was.

That said he looked good last week, not so much this week as far as throwing it goes.

I hope these next two games, each guy plays a whole half each.

I don't care about DJ.....he can be a PS guy or even the#3. Lance is only 25 so maybe that is in his favor. Need to see more from both tho

To be fair, I didn't watch the entire game, I switched back and forth between the Padres game

What I liked about Rocket was what he did on that TD...notice how the play called for him to go up the gut...but no, there was nothing there, so he bounced it to the outside, turned the corner neatly and scored. Now, how many times have we seen dudes like Kelley and Rountree and Spiller plow mindlessly into the pile for nada? Nice to have a RB who actually has vision and the smarts to take the play to where there's daylight...
