    Ticket Question For You Locals

I think I'm gonna get a ticket to go see Chargers v Denver Sept 21. My budgets about $200. I know I can't get the greatest ticket for that, but I also have to fly to LA and buy a hotel for two nights.

So, I'm curious, for those that have been what do you think would be the best bang for your buck ticket wise? I'm thinking either front row or two 500 section, Charger side. But there's some lower seats in the corners / ends. I know the view won't be as good, (can't really see what's going on the far end) but I thought maybe the vibe is better closer to the field.

Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to Thunder Alley and giving the Broncs a thumping. 😄

We have season tickets in Section 211, corner end-zone. Love the view from there, you get to see them score up close and when they're on the far side just watch on the Occulus.

go for the lower level. I'm in the 200 section and when I look up at the 500 section the people look like ants. i don't know what they're watching.

Denver game should sell out as those Bronco fans travel well.

agree with the posts above. between level 200 and 300 are two levels of private suites, so there is quite a difference between 200 and then 300, 400, 500. i have sat in 300 and 200 and there is a big difference.

400 and 500 would be rough. i agree with end zone or corner on a lower section.

the red marks in the pic below are on 200 and 300. i did not notice this before (my focus was on 200 vs. 300), but there is also a row of private suites between 300 and 400.

With my travel game to SoFi a few years ago, I faced the same choice. I had uppers for a couple of years at the Murph and I liked them. I passed on corner end zone lowers and bought front row upper at about the 10 yard line. The view was OK at best as it seemed I was much higher than the Murph. But the thing for us was the heat. That glass roof began to feel like being under a magnifying glass after just a few minutes. There was zero breeze as it was a hot day outside and we kinda baked all day. My wife told me if I ever brought her back there that she was not coming if I buy anything high at SoFi.

          Caveat Emptor!!!

good point! there are many reasons why those top level seats are cheap.

at the 49er stadium, I felt like indiana jones finding my seats in the top level. so many goofy staircases to walk up and transfer to, in order to find my seats.

Thanks for the advice everyone. You guys convinced me. I never even considered the heat, and honestly, my knee isn't into long climbs. So, I got a ticket in 206 row 1. It's more behind the end zone then corner end zone, but I was a Goalie (hockey) I can handle the long view.

              Super excited! Thanks again!

great decision. level 200 is a great level. close to the action, but no fear of obstructed view.

So.. now that that game is out of the way I will be in LA next week!!. So, just trying to get my ducks in a row and think through gameday. My plan is to Uber at the stadium (probably actually the casino just south of, since its right by the tailgate area) around 10ish, and enjoy the party/atmosphere of Lightning Alley. I don't quite understand how it works.. they're not legally allowed to sell things, but I can make "donations" yes? Should I bring cash? If so, how much? Do people have Squares, or just take Venmo? Also, are there two different spots? I've read about "Electric Avenue" somewhere, too. I don't know if that's really a thing.

Also.. Is there any cool post game spots? I'd rather not just go sit in my hotel room and watch SNF if there's a fun bar or after game hot spot to go celebrate.

Thanks again. I'm probably overthinking it, but I like to be prepped
