I will never offer to give away any margin or advantage the Chargers have for free, ever. I’ll accept every gift, bounce and bumble that falls our way without embarrassment. Others can keep all that “want to beat the best” bravado, IDGAF. There are no asterisks, no style points. if we don’t need it when all is played and done, great, but I don’t know if we will or won’t. Cuz weird shit happens every week and one game is easy to slip away regardless of how bad or good a team is. I’ve seen the Chargers miss the playoffs by one game before. I’ve seen the best Charger teams lose to much worse teams in playoff games. I’ve seen everything you’ve seen. I don’t care how we got there, nobody will remember it anyway.

I confess how wrong I was as I did think there were 3 other teams at our level for the WC, not just 2. That does change the urgency, not that I’d change my view on it though. mybad, I was just wrong.
