It also said Herbert was pressured 43% to Maye’s 38%.
Pretty close.
Some might say Maye held the ball too long but as Charger fans we’ve learned it’s always the OL’s fault.
Part of why he held the ball was the Seahawks coverage was very good. They forced Maye to go to his 2nd and 3rd reads and by then the rush could get there.
Game for the ages, despite a 2 to 1 shot advantage, and a 90 sec 5 on 3 power play, USA wins. Connor Hellebuyck MVP, Jack Hughes for the winning goal. And 46 year gap between the Miracle on Ice and Milan. Cudos for Canada on a great game, OT is a coin flip.

Come Hellebuyck or high water, they were winning that game…

Congrats USA on the win!
Canada outplayed and outshot the USA significantly but just didn't bury too many golden chances and yes Hellebuyck deserves MVP of that game.
These nations are very close now as the 2 hockey powers.
No gold in Canada is taken very hard. It was the only Olympics I watched this time though, just couldn't get into it for some reason.

Connor was unreal and Jack Hughes said after the game that he was the best player on the ice. Gutty ballsy win for USA. Men's and Women's teams both got the Gold. Hockey is ruled by the US now

Connor posted the game of his life and deserved it in spades. I didn’t see P1 but he was under siege in the 2nd and 3rd period, a relentless onslaught of very good offensive chances and shots on goal he saved - USA defense was really poor in letting Canada just dominate the crease and bully them in front of him at will almost, even when it was 5x5.

I thought CAN was going to win - our goalie was David vs Goliath out there today.
What were your (or Canadian’s) thoughts on the great curling scandal of 2026? Lol, pretty funny outrage by a lot of people who probably had never seen it before.
because cmon - it’s not a sport, it’s more like a bar game. darts on ice with big heavy stones. Or shuffleboard. I remember it was constantly on the CAN channel when I lived in Detroit though.
