In my 30s in the early '90s I drove with a couple of aid caravans through Mexico and Central America. On my first trip, the guy I was traveling with told me not to eat some pico de gallo that was on the table of this cafe we had stopped at. I ate it anyway. It took about an hour, but I got horribly sick. I was dehydrated, and diarrhea'd out my bowels. The guy I was traveling with, 22 years older than me and an experienced traveler, nursed me back to health. I felt very vulnerable being that sick in that situation. I was so thankful to have him there, and he never once "I told you you so!" From then on, I did everything he told me to do. He became my best and closest friend of my lifetime. He turned 90 in May and still has a lot of life in him.

Heh, the Chargers should use sacrificial food tasters for all locally made meals.
I disagree with this. Not because I think he's a great sideline X route receiver. because I am 99.9% confident that if you eliminate deep routes from his tree entirely, every DC will quickly pick it up from tape and utilize that in their defensive plans.

Its akin to you have to run to set up PA and keep defenses honest up front.

has food poisoning been confirmed? I'm betting Mekhi plays until I don't see him on the line for the first series ... can't say I'm confident in my bet though lol

A win is and will be great. But I do agree its just one game in a long tough season

Possibly that's what Becton did .... having a larger appetite than most.
I heard the team had a 'Brazilian steak dinner' last night or the night before.

wow, rough one. I got one: After I became a professional, I used to get a kick out of taking my dad to lunch on occasion. he got a huge kick out of his son buying him lunch (my mom would tell me), which was what made it so cool for me. we had dozens to over a hundred lunches over the years with no incident. I met him out for chinese one day. all good, everything tasted great. Said goodbye, went back to work for a bit then left early, as planned, as I had a huge show at House of Blues downtown that night.

Got down there early, 5ish. all good. load in, sound check ... we're in the green room just chilling, sipping beers, my lovely wife came down (she only goes to big shows, not the dive bars lol). at 7:00, 1 hr before down beat I started feeling bad ... fever suddenly came on, then I start puking 30 min before we go on. oh no ... leader is worried, am I gonna be able to do it? fuck yeah, bruh, I'll play til I drop. Roughest gig of my life, there were some curtains to the stage side, I'd run over to puke in a trashcan between songs - 4 or 5 times during the show. Couldn't rock out like normal because swinging my head made me dizzy and puke more. Got through about 11 songs and there were 3 left and I called over to the leader/singer and said "bruh, you gotta cut one of the songs, I'm not gonna make 3 more". He dropped a B-side and we finished. I got my shit struck and off the stage and just went back to the green room and laid on the couch for 45 min to recover enough to just get my shit out to my car and get home, while the rest of the band started to party and have fun.

I got rockstar warrior awards from the band for hangin in to play the show but it was brutal. People that came to see me said later I didn't look very happy on stage ... lol, no, no I wasn't.

I think we heard this one already dmac: stoudt stuff.
So, you're expecting Becton to start and vomit on Chris Jones multiple times.

its not disqualifying if you puke, right? just spitting? I can't find it in the NFL rulebook.
he should puke straight into his face mask and then say "my bad, sorry bro"

I remember one olineman describing being in his stance, a dlineman then puked all over his hand and the guy had to remain in his set.

                  Becton's playing tonight

Chris Jones and Tillery will have to change into new uniforms at halftime.

I've seen guys puke during preseason games before.

                    New strategy!

Noting worse than food poisoning on a trip.

I had that misfortune returning from Japan eating some bad chicken cordon blue.

Waited for a connecting flight to San Diego in San Francisco curled up in a vomiting ball.

Then the flight to San Diego tried to land at a minute after 11pm which is past curfew so wheels went back up and we headed to OC for landing. We were herded into a bus and sent back to the SD airport arriving around 6 am. I was still sick as a dog.

Caught a cab back to Penasquitos where I lived and went to bed for 48 hours. I’ll never forget that.
You could get it from brushing your teeth with tap water

                          Ps what a nightmare!
